Teen Parent: Send My Kid Off is made for teen parents who have already moved out of their parents’ house, are raising their own children, and still need somebody to call when they need a break.

Click your Teen Sim and choose Teen Parent: Send My Kid Off. Pick which child is going, who they are staying with, why they are going, and how long they will stay. Kids can stay with grandparents, the other parent, aunts or uncles, great-grandparents, older siblings, older cousins, older family members, trusted adults, friends, and eligible co-workers. You can send kids away for anything from a couple of hours to two weeks. Reasons include needing sleep, needing time to study, going out, work, errands, family visits, co-parenting time, needing space, needing a break, school-related reasons, emergencies, and more. The reason you pick is saved with the visit and is used in notifications and moodlets.

While the child is gone, the Teen parent can either miss their baby or enjoy finally having some time to themselves. Those moodlets include their own buff reasons based on why the child was sent away. When the child comes home, both the Teen parent and child can get their own return reactions. The child actually leaves the Teen parent’s household and stays with the selected Sim. When the visit ends, they are returned to their original household and brought back onto the home lot. You can also check the visit, extend the stay, or bring the child home early.

REQUIRED

The Teen must have a biological child and the Sim they are sending the child to must qualify for the category selected. Some categories will only show Sims your Teen actually knows or has the correct family, friendship, or work connection with.

Script Mods must be enabled.

Install both the .package and .ts4script files in your Mods folder. Do not place the install ZIP directly into your Mods folder.

This mod was created using Sims 4 Studio and Mod Constructor.

Teen Parent: Send My Kid Off is its own standalone mod. You do not need Ship DA Kids Off installed for this to work.
