JayESims x Jaye Hinson Presents - Gentle Giant (MODS FOR ALL PROGRAM)

This mod is currently up to date and compatible with the latest Sims 4 patch: PC 1.126.78.1020 / Mac 1.126.78.1220, released August 6, 2026.

Last Compatibility Check: August 9, 2026

Please make sure your game is fully updated and that any required dependencies are also using their latest versions.

As always, delete older versions of the mod before installing an updated file and remove localthumbcache.package after replacing mods.

If you experience an issue, please test with only this mod and its required dependencies installed before reporting it.

Gentle Giant is a soft family-provider trait made for a husband/father who is patient, loving, hands-on, and protective with the people he loves most.

This mod includes:

8 socials from Gentle Giant to partner
2 socials from Gentle Giant to child
1 partner-to-Gentle Giant money reminder social
Custom mood changes
Skill gain boost
Friendship and romance growth boost
1 permanent buff

A few notes on how this trait works:

The Sim with the Gentle Giant trait is the main Sim who will receive the Gentle Giant interactions and mood changes.

To unlock the partner interactions, click on the female Sim/partner and use:

“Who I’m Gentle With”

This gives her the Who He’s Gentle With trait, which unlocks the deeper partner socials.

For child interactions, the child will need the Child He’s Gentle With trait.

You can add this trait in CAS or through cheats. Once the child has that trait, the adult-to-child Gentle Giant socials will show.

The partner money interaction is called:

“Remind Babe Of The Money He Said He Had For You”

This is a partner-to-Gentle Giant interaction.

Gameplay changes included:

Happy and Confident moods increase quicker at 1.6 instead of the game’s normal 1.0.

Charisma skill builds faster at 1.7.

Anger is reduced to 0.4, so he is less likely to move through the world irritated or hot-headed.

Friendship and romance growth are increased to 1.6, helping him build closer bonds faster with the people he loves.

Gentle Giant also comes with a permanent buff called:

“Everybody Good, I’m Good.”

Important Child Interaction Note:
If the child socials do not show right away, make sure the child has the Child He’s Gentle With trait added in CAS.

Place it directly in your Mods folder (no more than one subfolder deep).

⚠️ Important Installation Rule

Each mod comes in two versions:

  • User‑Directed Version

  • Autonomous Version

You must choose ONE version only.
Do NOT place both versions in your Mods folder at the same time.

Having both installed will cause conflicts, missing interactions, or unexpected behavior.

AUTO Version

  • “Auto” means the actions happen autonomously (without you controlling it).

  • Just like how Sims have a mind of their own.

  • So yes, you will usually NOT see pie menus for mods/files that you downloaded that say AUTO. That’s normal.

User Directed Version

  • “User Directed” means the actions are in your control.

  • Mods/files that say User Directed should show pie menus because you’re the one choosing the interactions.
