Y’all Got Questions… I Got Answers. (MUST READ)

I’ve been seeing the conversations and think pieces about JayESims and AI, so let me just speak on it real quick.

When I first started modding, I was learning, experimenting, and figuring things out like everybody does. I’ve never denied that and I’ve even spoken on it publicly before. If any past visuals I used for promo offended or disappointed anyone, I apologize. To be better is to do better, and I’m always open to learning and growing.

Going forward, I have not used AI in my work. None of my mods have ever been made with AI and realistically, if it worked like that, everybody would be doing it. You’ve literally been on live with me creating mods, so some of these narratives being built off pictures alone are kind of wild.

I grew up around computers, typing, watching my mom do administrative work. I can type. Everything in this world is not a prompt.

JayESims is not just a creator, I’m a brand. I’ve operated like that since day one. The way I work, the way I drop, and the pace I move at is intentional. It helps me manage my mental, stay ahead, and still show up for y’all even when I need to step back.

I use tools like Sims 4 Studio, Mod Constructor, LOT51, Canva, Freepik for icons and more. Canva is literally my best friend, I just made a full video in there the other day.

My CC wall art has always been pulled from Pinterest. I’ve always been open about my process.

I am pro people doing what they want, but I’ve also taken time to educate myself more on generative AI. The more I see, read, and experience, the more I understand why it raises real concerns.

I can’t debunk every rumor, but I can always be real with you.

Let’s also be clear, one creator’s truth is not the whole community’s truth. Just because someone works a certain way doesn’t mean everybody does.

And for those asking why I drop so fast, again, I’m a brand. I understand attention, timing, and demand. I’ve talked about this in my late night chats for a long time. This isn’t new.

At the end of the day, narratives will be narratives, but I will always stand in my truth.

You can’t educate or create change by bullying, lying, or jumping to conclusions.

We’re all learning in real time, so if you have real resources or information on AI and its impact, I’m open to it. I don’t mind being educated.
