FAMILY MEETING - The Future Or The End?

I haven't updated my game since the February update. I can't deal with all those monthly updates I just can't I've got over a trillion cc and mods I'm not about to go through the hell of removing all cc and mods to fix my game again because I did that in February I was so heartbroken I had to let go of some mods and CCS then I had to go through weeks of just re installing them back I had to like add 10 mods or CCS at a time restart the the game to test if that particular mods/CCS work or wasn't broken it took me weeks to do that. But yes jay all your mod works for me even those you've released after February

MIne picks and chooses when it wants to operate smoothly or not. You are now the only creator whose mods I have installed so that I can play

Mine still won't load at all and the few times this week when it did, when I get to "resume game" the screen if dim and not able to press anything. I have to press Alt +f4 to exit. So frustrating 😫

My game updated 😭 and then it was messed up for a minute but after some tweaking and the deletion of a couple UI mods, I was able to get it to work like it usually does 😀

Currently on vacation so I left my gaming laptop home. I've just been watching the chaos but I don't have auto update on so hopefully I'm still in the clear.

I haven't updated yet just because I know that it is a process and I have been really busy this week.

I haven't updated in a while. I deleted the game Sadly. I loved your mods soo much. Sims helped me with my depression and anxiety. Im just tired of having to start all over every update. My computer just doesn't have the space for it.

i had to delete some UI Mods and wait for update but my game is working. only thing is my EA app when i try to play will say something is wrong on their end so i restart the app or clear the app's cache.

Ive accidently updated didn't mean to my partner left the WiFi on and I didn't realise before I loaded up the app😅, currently unplayable😅 I'm new to all this modding malarkey so trying to work it out😅 don't stop dropping mods though ill catch up 🤣🤣 x

I've been burned too many times with EA's sloppy releases, so I always wait until everything is fixed and mods are updated before I patch. I'm a software engineer and would no doubt be fired if I released code that impacteed customers like this, but for EA it's like "Oops, we did it again. Sorry, not sorry." This time hits different because of the reason for the update. The Money Grab Marketplace is their focus. They obviously don't give a 💩 about anyone playing with mods because they don't make money on it. They obviously didn't even bother to QA test with mods installed because THEY REALLY DON'T CARE. ** DISCLAIMER: I am not in favor of spreading hate to those creators who have chosen to be ripped off by EA's marketplace scheme. I feel bad they aren't getting their fair share, but still support their decision. No hate. Only love. ***

stupid me updated. I have no worlds. Removed all mods and cc and it still doesn't work. Shitty

i will not be updating my game i spent to much time and money on my cc and mods for them to mess up everything i worked hard for.

I've not updated my game,yet I've done a list of my current mods in game,and checking it off one by one for updates.

im able to play and Im slowly adding Mods and CC

I've updated, I can open my game but most of my cc has either disappeared or shows up broken

I haven't updated yet but I have been adding mods through a patreon and curse forge and have been playing just fine

With all the issues going on, ive found it better to just not even open my app until all the bugs are fixed.

I’ve been doing the 50-50 method ever since the update, 😞sometimes the game works and sometimes it doesn’t which means whatever the problem, it still isn’t fixed. I keep getting that “failed to launch” error, but it says it’s on their end and I just saw the message about the update that they’re trying to push for next week so I’ll remain hopeful. I’m so frustrated.

My game is playable after going through several failed to launch error messages. After successful launch everything runs great with all updated/compatible cc and mods. Looking forward to your new creations.

Forgot to to turn off my auto updates lol 🤦🏽‍♀️I was like nooooo. Been trying to fix for 2 days trying every suggestion they have.

Just updated. Game is playable and I have about 45k mods. A few bugs I need to work out though but playable all the same.

I haven't even bothered updating yet. I'm waiting for feedback on the hotfix to be positive. I'm also waiting for the mods that I use to be updated/cleared. I play offline without any issues. I lived through the last two memorable update fiascos and refuse to update until everything is done.

Second update dropped, and everything was fine for me <3

Still trying to fix things, it loads sometimes after I clear my cashe, sometimes it won't load because no cashe is created until I try to load it multiple times. I'm going through mods and cc a little at a time. I have updated mods that required updates. it's frustrating. your mods are good, no problem there.

I haven’t updated at all even when they put out an update the second time to “fix the bug”. I literally refuse to deal with the bs and the stress😌

First off I want to say JayE you are the Goat for real. Not only do you care about our games but you care about us as human beings. Financially, emotionally ,and mentally. Much appreciated. Every time there is an update not only do you update us before the update comes out but you WARN US and give us tips on what to do moving forward. Even when you are at your lowest you still show up and show out YESSSS!!! I appreciate your content and that's why I give to you as much as I can. It's dope that you drop freebies and have the mods for all program. There are FR creators out here that are down right profiting without even a hey you post. No Updates. NO excuses. No nothing just taking peoples hard earned money without a care in the world. YOUR DIFFERENT! I just wanted to say thank you. I rarely get too. I Unfortunately updated before I seen the chaos. I've been trying to fix this game for days. I have literally updated everything. I have taken my mods out one by one and still there is major issues in my gameplay. At this point throw the whole damn thing away. We should boycott lol

I was FORCED to update! game works with out mod/cc i added a few in its works.. I add more it its fails to launch i take out what i put in.. then FAILS TO LAUCH I've been crashing out all day

Just found out about the update and walked away. I just updated my game 2 weeks ago. I get more excited to see notification emails from my favorite modders and content creators than the actual game 🤣

Haven't updated yet. Still offline and probably won't update until the end of the month. I still have my mod/cc folder in but I am enjoying playing offline with my current version of mods/ cc.

You are such a caring creator and sweet! Thanks for checking on us. I have updated and wont be until MAYBE next week or the week after. I like to give the game and creators time first to adjust to tweaks and glitches just like we saw happen. This is probably the worst update I’ve seen from them in a whileeeeee! Probably since the growing together & HSY patches.

i have updated and my game is playable however; i must say out of all the updates EA has done this is theeeeeeee worse!!!

I can play my game, but still have a few bugs to eliminate. Your content is fine. It's a few others I am working on.

I am in the "bald headed" category. 😥 Adding in cc little by little to see what works and what doesn't. And I have found I had to remove a couple of TwistedMexi UI cheats, buildbuy for sure and I can't remember the other off the top of my head.

Your so sweet! This is so nice. I literally just redid my Mods and then the game broke lmao so I am waiting for mods to update before I update. Also my work schedule doesn't allow me to sit and spend time fixing mods all the time so I'm enjoying playing offline in the meantime. I'm Planning to update during this week as most of the creators I use seem to have had their mods fixed. Thank You for this.

your mods are perfect and no problem, however I have a lot of Mods like pandasama for example and loads of Mods are down so awaiting updates, typical bloody EA DRAMA AS ALWAYS, I literally cringe and die a little inside everytime there is a patch update, which feels like every time I get everything fixed from previous patch they go and drop another one, I just wanna play the game without EA constantly breaking it. SIGH, but ty Jay I literally love your stuff its beyond awesome xx

Personally I never update right away after a update. I always give at least 2 weeks to wait for Ea and modders to get things in order. I just create a folder with all updated things plus new and after the 2 weeks I start my updating. I have A lot of cc and mods in my game so it takes me time to get my folder situated. I can say im seeing all over fb people are saying their cc isn't showing up in Cas and some are getting failure to launch which I know Ea put out a forum in regards to that yesterday.

Mine is working just fine for me…I’m new to sims so I’m trying to figure everything out. I updated, lost all mods and cc then just downloaded everything back…it was working for me the same day that it crashed

My game works just fine. UI cheats still doesn’t work even though he said he fixed it

Your mods are going fine although I may switch to user directed instead of auto. But I can’t figure out what is causing my entire household including the pets to travel when I go to work or an event. It’s annoying and causing my pets to run away because I can’t take care of them at work even though they are on the lot

Mine is mostly playable (I have something broken right now trying to find one item in 2100 😂)

I think I still need to update one more mode because when I open up my game all I see is a black screen so I have to figure that one out
