Sins of the Streets, a new gameplay mod built around darker personalities, gang affiliations, street conversations, and chaotic storytelling.

This one was inspired by Muva Simmer’s retired mod GangThang. That mod had its moment in the community and a lot of us had fun with it back in the day. Since it’s no longer active, I wanted to build something new that captures that same energy while adding my own systems, interactions, traits, and storytelling angles.

So this is not a copy. It’s my take on that vibe.

Inside this mod you’ll see Sims able to:

• claim gang affiliations
• talk street business
• reveal darker intentions
• build alliances and rivalries
• move through conversations with a colder edge

OVER 4 NEW TRAITS

There are different paths your Sims can lean into depending on the traits and interactions you choose. Some Sims will just talk tough. Others might be moving a little darker than that.

If you like storytelling saves, chaotic Sims, or characters that feel like they stepped out of a crime drama, you’re going to have fun with this one.

How Traits Unlock

Each starting interaction determines the trait your Sim receives.

When your Sim begins certain conversations, that interaction will assign a personality trait tied to that path. Once the trait is given, it unlocks the social interactions connected to that personality.

Because of that, you may not see every interaction in the menu right away. If something is missing, it simply means your Sim doesn’t have the trait connected to that set of conversations yet.

Different choices lead to different traits and different dialogue paths.

Compatibility Note

This mod is fully compatible with Basemental and Extreme Violence.

Mods like Basemental and Extreme Violence can naturally add more realism to your save, while this mod adds the dialogue, emotional moments, and personality layers around those experiences.

Place it directly in your Mods folder (no more than one subfolder deep).

⚠️ Important Installation Rule

Each mod comes in two versions:

• User‑Directed Version

• Autonomous Version

You must choose ONE version only.
Do NOT place both versions in your Mods folder at the same time.

Having both installed will cause conflicts, missing interactions, or unexpected behavior.

AUTO Version

• “Auto” means the actions happen autonomously (without you controlling it).

• Just like how Sims have a mind of their own.

• So yes, you will usually NOT see pie menus for mods/files that you downloaded that say AUTO. That’s normal.

User Directed Version

• “User Directed” means the actions are in your control.

• Mods/files that say User Directed should show pie menus because you’re the one choosing the interactions.
