This one came straight from real moments. The quiet looks. The small comments. The conversations couples have when they finally slow down and exist together outside of real life noise.

BaeCation is a storytelling-driven interaction mod built to capture what actually happens on trips with your partner! From late-night room talks to “this view don’t even look real” moments, to realizing you needed this getaway more than you admitted.

This mod is about atmosphere, pacing, and connection. It’s not loud. It’s intentional.

What this mod does

BaeCation introduces a dedicated interaction system that unlocks vacation-only couple conversations. These interactions live inside a hidden trait that holds the entire system together.

Important note:

• This trait does not appear in CAS

• You activate it in live mode by clicking:
  “This Is Who I’m On BaeCation With”
  Once selected, the full BaeCation conversation tree becomes available between those two Sims.

This keeps the experience realistic and story-driven! No random Sims accessing vacation energy that doesn’t belong to them.

Why this matters for storytelling

A lot of gameplay skips over the in-between moments. This mod focuses on those details:

• Talking about how the trip feels

• Arguing lightly without ruining the vibe

  and more!

Auto Version – How Access Works

For those using the auto version, everything is fully contained and controlled.

Only the two Sims who are assigned the BaeCation trait will be able to see and access the BaeCation conversation menu. No other Sims including NPCs, townies, or bystanders can trigger or join these interactions.

That means:

• No random Sims jumping into private couple conversations

• No NPCs breaking immersion

• No need to micromanage autonomy or settings

The system is intentionally locked to keep the experience personal, realistic, and story-focused. Once the trait is set, the mod handles the rest quietly in the background.
