Happy Black History Month, Mod Haus Family! ✊🏾 - MUST READ (MOD LINKS INCLUDED)

Hey my loves 💛

It’s officially Black History Month, and you guys already know that being Black and proud is something I wear every single day.
It’s not a costume, it’s not a trend. It’s in my blood. It flows through my content, my expression, my storytelling, my love for community, and my entire purpose.

Growing up, my parents made sure I knew that being Black was a blessing, not a burden. They taught me to embrace it, My voice, my skin, my presence and to lead with love and legacy. From my peers to my colleagues, my creative family to my romantic partnerships… Black is me.

My Inspirations:
Let’s give flowers to some of the people who shaped me!
Beyoncé (BEY to the YONCÉ aka that damn horse lady herself 🐎) for redefining what excellence looks like.
Jennifer Lewis, the Mother of Black Hollywood, for being raw, real, and unapologetic about Black mental health.
Keke Palmer, my girl who raised us all. Teaching me that being a jack of all trades is our superpower.
Papa JayESims, my father, my foundation. Who showed me that even when your body has limits, your mind can move mountains. Rest in peace, Daddy.

Because of them and because of us, I walk in my power with gratitude and pride.

To Celebrate, I’m Highlighting Some of My Favorite Mods Dedicated to Black Culture:

Each one created with intention, love, and truth. Storytelling rooted in identity, rhythm, and resilience.
