This one ain’t cute. It’s not sweet.
It’s real.

"Raised by the Streets" is a deeply emotional and urban-coded trait mod built for Sims who grew up too fast, loved too hard, trusted too slow, and learned to survive when the world didn’t give them softness.
It’s for the Sims with tough shells, trauma roots, and loyalty that runs deep.

🧬 WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • 🔩 1 New Custom Trait: Raised by the Streets

  • 💬 11 Fully-Written, Urban Social Interactions

  • 🧠 22 Total Custom Buffs

  • 📝 11 Real Story-Driven Notifications that hit hard and shape gameplay

🖤 WHY THIS MOD MATTERS:

Some Sims weren’t born into soft homes, bubble baths, or bedtime stories.
Some Sims were born into broken homes, gunshots in the distance, and responsibilities before joy.

This mod reflects those Sims.
The ones who carry street logic and emotional scars into their adult lives.
The ones who fight, survive, protect, and struggle to love without fear.

This is representation.
This is diversity.
This is storytelling rooted in truth.
Because not every Sim has a perfect past — and they shouldn’t have to in order to matter.

💭 Perfect for storylines about:

  • Sims with incarcerated family

  • Foster system, survival arcs, or hood drama

  • Reformed ex-street Sims trying to raise kids

  • Sims learning how to be soft after growing up hard

  • Characters based on real people, real stories, and real pain

This is bigger than gameplay.
It’s Black, it’s honest, it’s raw, and it’s made for the Simmers who use the game to tell stories that look like us.

🎮 Choose Your Gameplay Style

When downloading, please only pick ONE of the versions:

  • Autonomous Gameplay – Sims will make actions on their own without you controlling them.

  • User Directed Gameplay – Sims will not act unless you direct them. You’re fully in charge.

Looooooove your mods! but, I'm also a lil bit confused, because I want my sims to have autonomy with it but would that mean I also can't direct when needed? I have read the post and tried to find an answer to this but still not sure.

It’s pretty simple! It’s the same settings as on game. Autonomous means they just do things regardless of you clicking or not. User directed means they won’t do actions of the trait unless you manually click it.

So is this interactions autonomous only for sims who got this trait or for everyone?
