Glory to Arcane Jesus. Lol Seriously though, they do invoke a lot of Jesus Iconography. Like here with the robes and bare feet, the staff looking like a shepherds crook and of course the healing the sick.
Heimerdinger and ekko is my favourite team up of the show, hands down! Sevika is the woman with the mechanical arm, they did not add her to League of Legends, but they did add her briefly to their other game, Teamfight Tactics. Her mechanic was that every few seconds she'd roll slots and it would determine what ability she would use, it was very fun! The visuals, aesthetics and soundscape are unmatched. Get ready for some crazy things coming, they really packed what could have been 2-3 seasons into 9 episodes so the train does not stop rolling from here.
Hi tim! About the intro! The poses and scene you find in the intro are i believe all references to classic art pieces and paintings. Though every original piece our characters partake in speaks for who they are and their turmoil, the real forshaddowing happens in flash images in between those scenes. Don't worry if you don't get it all that's what the comments are for and we love your content non the less. Afterall, you are a vocal coach, not a visual art teacher. The vocal and music stuff is what we are here for
really appreciate the kind words and the love, sending it back 🫶🏻. -It's actually better if you don't pick up too much from the opening, as I said, there's foreshadowing of the characters' arc in how they're depicted and what their action are, so, if you analyze too much, you might stumble on some spoilers. -Sevika is more of a mediator trying to make the Chem-Barons stop fighting each other and coalesce against Piltover, I highly doubt she's interested in Silco's position, as I doubt the Barons would accept anyone else to be their leader after already being so fed up with Silco. -Once again, Get Jinxed pops up! It's the song playing through Sevika's new arm, and of course it is, Jinx build it! Hope to see you react to the music video soon!
Like you said though (or so I thought), the opening really doesn’t have any spoilers, despite the foreshadowing. I think it’s only spoiler-y if you already know what’s going to happen.
Completely forgot it was Sunday, what a nice surprise to wake up to! They do such a good job showing the character's grief from different angles. Caitlin's was mostly sad, lost. Sevika's grief is angry. Jinx is guilty in a self-destructive way. Not only did Jinx make Sevika an arm, she made it out of arcade parts😂. Idk how useful a randomized weapon is in a fight, and it seems to shoot off fireworks on its own, but it is FUN. I love the way they've done the visuals for the hexcore / Viktor's magic. It's made of spirals, like the golden ratio, but they're all twisted and full of holes. The rainbow color of the hexcore magic is pretty but ALSO kind of looks like an oil slick. It gives you a lot to think about!
Oh man, I’m a few episodes ahead and things go CRAZY from here! And most of the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic; been listening to it as I work on my own novel. At the end of episode 2 though, couldn’t help but hear Depeche Mode’s’Personal Jesus’ 🤣
Jinx has always given me Harley Quinn energy. The chaos and just overall aesthetic are just very similar to me. Also silco’s former henchwoman is named sevika.
