When I heard wolzwald a long time ago I interpreted the story as being a boy getting pulled into a cult ran by his father and not being able to find his way out so he uses drugs to escape. Now I see it as an allegory for Hollywood and being sucked into that world.
I really recommend Gero as well, since you checked out Meychan! He’s currently in a YouTube unit with Meychan and is someone Meychan admired enough to start being an Utaite himself! He’s really the master of making every song his own… I really recommend his cover of Philadelphia: https://youtu.be/U6-zlXrupJI?is=ioU-22ZmTuromD-a Sends shivers down my spine everytime I listen to it!
requests more utaite yourself on his request page! https://requests.timwelchmusic.com/
aaaaaa miyashita yuu!! he’s my favorite artist ever, his covers are all super great and unique! i really recommend listening to more of his music :)
Miyashita Yuu being inspired by vocaloid to do these crazy vocal techniques... hes the biggest inspiration for my own singing. i actually started singing for myself thinking 'if i can't do a 2 octave jump what's the point!?' i dont think i appreciate how weird that is. lol edits: he has sung this live, and I got to see it (so lucky!!!) unfortunately there's no public recordings. his style is intentionally very different live because the audio environment doesn't work for those super quiet, close vocals and layers. its more normal I guess you could say. but that doesn't stop him from doing those insane jumps, he really can just throw his voice up there... it's ridiculous. thanks for really giving your mind and full attention to everything you do!
these are honestly great picks for an Utaite 4 song study, i'd personally love to see Akatin in the next volume tho! one of my personal favourites
It's so fun watching you react and analyse crazy utaite! Those 4 singers are all very different artists, Meychan being a crazy cool guy known for his live concerts, Miyashita one of the most diverse vocalists in the whole space with unbelievable mixing on the vocal production, he is so creative everytime and his range is absurd! Then obviously this legendary emotional performance from Majiko, it really is a special live performance, worthy of the song Kokoronashi. As for Wolpis Carter, Amanojaku as a song is really special to Wolpis personally as an artist since it is the first song he had covered also back in 2012 when he just started out as an utaite, since then he has re-recorded it 4 times in 2012, 2014, 2018 and now the 2021 version you saw here and his improvement has been insane, those are all very different covers when it comes to his voice and vocal techniques, he wasn't a good singer at all when he begun but has made crazy efforts to get better since then. There are some covers and originals he had done that are so unbelievable, so crazy powerful and high that will blow your mind, just like with Mafumafu in a future bundle https://requests.timwelchmusic.com/r/304ce356-bf2c-4591-bc81-50661e6d1883 would love if anyone can heart this bundle for Wolpis
amazing reaction
73 Minutes of peak! I am so exited for this one. Btw Wolpis Carter has his birthday today, he turned 32 years old.
