Han's flow is so good in this. And imo this is one of Felix's best raps for sure :)
And here I thought we pivoted and would do Twilight instead😂 But I love Truman so no complains from me
Charles Leclerc is a F1 racer. The Charles Leclerc line I believe is from when he broke his home curse when he won Monarco Grand Prix (his home track) after some bad races in 2024. I believe some of the SKZ kids are fans of F1 as well. Rengar is a Jungler / top lane champion in League of Legends. His Passive ability is collecting "trophies" off the first kills of enemy champions to boost his overall stats. This is one of my favourite Duo songs as it tickles my brain in the right ways 🤭🤣
Fun fact: Han said that he intentionally wrote the song to showcase Felix talents so he gave Lix more bars than himself
Ahh I really love this song. I already mentioned in the discord it didn't really click for me at first, I had to sort of get comfortable with it. Rap-heavy tracks have never been my thing but SKZ have slowly converted me. There are so many references to memes, video games, and personal details about Felix and Han in this song it's really fun. I think you got it but Rengar is a LoL character. Felix is a big big video game nerd but specifically nerdy for LoL. Rengar's not in Arcane though so no worries about not recognizing him. There are sooooo many LoL champions. I also suspect the 'last chip in the bag' line is a reference to Death Note, because at least Han is a huge anime fan. Most of SKZ are, I assume Felix is as well. This one is just a guess. Another guess, but people theorize that the "first and the last" are referring to Han being the first to join Bang Chan before SKZ was formed, and Felix being the last one. A silly little fact is that when this song was recorded, even though they have several lines about driving fast / F1, neither of them could drive. Even now I think only Han has learned to drive and it was fairly recently.
Can't be because Seungmin joined the company a few weeks after Felix and Lino only a month before the final showcase that was shown in the first episode of the survival show I've heard a theory that the first and the last line might also be a reference to Demon Slayer? And yes, Han finally got his license in the spring
It took a couple of listens for me to really like this track but now I love it, and especially Han’s rap part!
Charles Leclerc is an F1 driver - Felix's favourite. That line is actually pretty neat, and it wasn't even intentional. Felix and Charles actually have the same debut date - 25 march, 2018. Charles also debuted in Australia, Felix's home country, and Felix has admitted that he did not know this while writing the lyrics, haha. I do kind of know the thing with the Rengar line (he collects trophies iirc) but I don't actually have any knowledge of the game so I will leave that for someone who does and will no doubt give you a better explanation than I would be able to produce.
