Aimer - 3 Song Study: 'Brave Shine,' 'Haru wa Yuku' & 'Dareka, Umi wo.' (LIVE) 🚨 SORRY KEYBOARD WAS OFF! 🙈

Haru wa yuku brings tears to my eyes everytime I listen to it. Partly because of the character journey behind the song but also because of the strings and Yuki Kajiura's masterful work composing, I get goosebumps every time the chorus hits with just the vocals and the instruments striped back.

One note on the word "boku", means "I" or "me" in Japanese, typically it is used by boys in normal life. As the boys grow up to become a man, they typically grow up from using the word "boku" to other words as well, to sounds more masculine and tougher. In songs, many female singers use "boku" a lot since it represents the more genuine and innocent version of yourself (or the singer in this case). Not really emphasize gender role.

I love Fate francise so much (have been a fan since the original visual novel game), and Brave Shine is top 3, from the lyrics to the arrangement. It is the song I always play when I need that "power", that "resilience", that "resolution", in my life. Fate/stay night, has three ending since it was originally a game. First route is Fate ending, the second ending is Unlimited Blade Works, and the third ending is Heaven's Feel. Each will have different direction to the story and vibes, since they are focusing on completely different female protaginist. I really recommend you check this out.

Kind of a fun coincidence, but you released this the same day that Honkai Star Rail is releasing the second part of their Fate collab

Fate is one of my top anime’s, and the music is a big reason why. The simplest way to describe it is “mages summon mythological heroes to fight each other,” but there is soooooo much more. I would highly recommend checking it out, probably after AoT, since Fate would also be a longer show

the Fate Franchise is extremely lore heavy, but definitely one of the most coolest and unique series out there be it with the anime or the visual novel, might be worth checking out 👀. Honestly I don't even want to explain the concept since I wouldn't even know how to do a summary for it lmao

it probably would make sense to do an entire 5 song bundle to Aimer at some point since she also has some really great first take performances
