A deep dive analysis of the studio version of this one, or Mama, would be amazing!
Pleaseeee do a deep dive analysis of the album recording of the song!! would LOVE to hear your thoughts on that entire album (their first one!!)
I joined the patreon because of your welcome to the black parade reaction, I'm so happy you're getting into them! This song is from their first album which was recorded in 7 days.
I'd love to see you watch the black parade is dead concert video. It's proshot and available free on youtube. https://youtu.be/Ud2eziOjjTo?si=9vcbayF31STA-w8H The first act is their performance of the entire black parade album in mexico city, then there is a second recording of a small hometown show they did that has some of their other stuff too.
Thank you so much Tim, I love your My Chem reactions! That set of woahs at the end is actually a live intro that they occasionally do for their song Helena. If you were to do any other song of theirs on YouTube I would suggest that one. It's one of their most popular and they almost never play a show without it.
I've never heard this song before - I was really into MCR in the era where you had to buy entire albums to listen to music and I didn't have this one 😂 It's good, dramatic. I am also DEEPLY INTRIGUED about your vampire musical Tim. I would love to know more about it if you want to share. I love a vampire story. I'm actually writing one now (not a musical of course just a story). It may never see the light of day but the idea grabbed me and wouldn't let go.
