The Warning - 'Burnout' | Sofar London
Keyword from this, RESTRAINT! I'm continually impressed with their artistry.

Ale is usually lower harmony, but I've noticed a few exceptions. For any of her vocals, her voice is always in the left channel, or seems to be anyway, so that's where one will hear them.
The band has said this song is about working with or being close to someone who is not pulling their weight and is constantly dragging others down, the kind of person who gives up on trying, makes empty promises, and still takes credit without contributing. They have described it as a venting song, meant to express what you wish you could say to that person, and summarized it as being tired of being dragged down by someone who has stopped trying in life.
I hadn't heard the SoFar yet, so that was really nice to know these versions existed.
These stripped-down versions are amazing examples of how they DO NOT need backing tracks to sound good. They are real artists and profoundly talented and dedicated to their craft.
What this restraint also proves, is the fundamental strength of their compositions. No matter how much they strip away, the core of the song remains strong and recognizable as a rock.
I love these stripped back versions! This is the only one that has been released by Sofar! of this quality, but there are some pretty good fan cams of the rest of the songs from this event if you want to check them out as well! Thanks for checking this out!
