FALL OUT BOY- 'Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet' Reaction

Just came here after listening to the Hazbin Hotel Broadway reaction and I can’t wait for Tim to hear Patrick from FOB in Hazbin Season 2 as Able! Also, my 2 cents on suggestions for their modern sound would be “Heaven’s Gate” and “I am my own Muse” So excited to see you exploring more of them in the future!

Almost didn't listen to this because I thought it was a different type of group, but I'm glad I took a chance and gave it a listen. Never heard them before. Will be listening to them more.

It's so fun to go on a little nostalgia trip. I was a pretty solid Fallout Boy fan with From Under the Cork tree and then I was kind of stolen away by Panic! at the Disco and I really haven't heard any of their newer stuff (apparently not even Folie a Deux). This was great :)

YAAAAAAAY i'm so happy you listened to it!!! listening to them play headfirst slide live was honestly life-changing LOL, patrick takes such good care of his voice and you can really tell. the live song was off of their second official studio album, "from under the cork tree", so that's why it's got that more classic fall out boy sound to it compared to folie. i would LOVE an entire folie album review and looking more into their discography, bc their sound really deviated and got much more experimental on their latest albums like "mania" and "so (much) for stardust" in a way i think you'd like. also you nailed the interpretation of the song being about the singer having an affair with a woman and talking about her husband, saying how she thinks they're so different but really, they're the same, and eventually she'll come to that same realization. the post-chorus also shows up in another song on the album, "what a catch, donnie", later.

Patrick Stump voices the character Able in Hazbin Hotel S2. He's got some great range in his voice acting too.
