Yesss! And this is the first of many Chekhov’s guns! The mangaka did an incredible job with the timing of events, the dialogues, and the thoughts voiced by the characters. One of the quotes stuck deep in my mind, and ever since my first watch, I’ve carried it with me! I can’t stop admiring everything about this anime. Honestly, as someone who’s already rewatched it several times, it was fascinating to see your reactions and theories about Eren, why he wasn’t shown, the focus on the grenade in Mikasa’s scene, the ‘Lets go!’ moments, and the reactions in the final scene! During my first watch, I went through all the same emotions, and it’s so nice to see that this anime moves not just me, but so many others too! As always, I can’t wait for the next reactions to the upcoming episodes!❤️

HO-LY COW!! Crazy how Mikasa did not shed one tear until she had Eren in her arms, then it all came out in a BIG way. Sometimes that's how it works. A person sets emotion aside while they focus on surviving, but as soon as they reach safety, they break down and cry.

Yeah you’re basically never gonna know what’s going on😭 till the end basically but that’s what makes it so good!!!
