ASAF AVIDAN-'I Don't Know How, I Don't Know When, I Don't know Why' Reaction

Yet another amazing thought provoking song by ASAF! I loved this.

In a recent interview Asaf told us that Brad Pitt approached him after one of his live shows in France and offered Asaf time in Pitt's famous Miraval Studios to write and record his new album. And he did! They even paid for him to be able to stay at the estate at Miraval while writing/recording. Thank you Mr Brad Pitt lol

This song is becoming my favourite on the latest album, actually. What a powerful message and delivery! I love when he sings with his darker voice "See I've been rejected from normal trajectory, since I've been objected to so many pain...." it gets stuck in my head for days! And I love that he so straight forward sings about being afraid of death, and bringing forth a sense of acceptance of this fear, when singing about it. Because it affects us all. His lyrics are immensely comforting to me.

I had some aunts that followed his mindset. They lived to their 90’s, one to 101, and they were pretty active. I think one roller skated when she was in her 70’s. Other than this channel, I don’t know where else I would have heard about Avidan except maybe on PBS or a college station. Definitely not a commercial station. 🙄

I can’t express how much Asaf ticks all my boxes - Every. Single.Time. His work is always on point and unexpected. The beginning of the video is giving me Quentin Tarantino vibes. And although he can’t be compared, I also always think of LP when I listen. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Did you see the new Halloween video? I had to watch it twice because I missed so much stuff the first time around due to laughing so much. https://youtu.be/gikjUWkW-oM?si=ciwiyFM-fb-UL42G

First time I have heard this one and as usual with Avidan, one time through isn't nearly enough. I'm going to have to listen to this and then listen again and again. So no philosophical stuff from me. But, that's one of the things I like about him. A lot of the time you have to dig not just into the song, but into yourself.
