Attack on Titan Season 1 Episode 5

The colossal titan disappearing is a slight anime error and will be slightly addressed. 3. Besides 2 (Above), any questions or things you don't understand will be explained later or things that dont make sense now are foreshadowing something that will be clear later. Even small details.

As for the opening and Yeager specifically it's definitely a barrowed word a lot of Japanese is barrowed words it has a whole sub language called katakana for words they didn't have in traditional Japanese that was brought into Japan after they opened their borders

So yeah, Colossal Titan is the big – and I mean ENORMOUS – one without skin and Armored Titan is the one who broke inner Gate in episode 2. He didn't wear armor or anything, it's just his skin was harder than other's. They tried to shoot him down with canons, but it didn't even scratched him meanwhile normal Titans took some damage. He looked different from Colossal Titan and he's different from normal Titan so they call him Armored Titan. I feel like you might be confused about Walls so I'll try to explain it: in the intro you can see the picture of the three Walls: outer Wall is Maria, inner Wall is Sina and between them there's Wall Rose. So there's three circles (btw it's a huge territory, I don't remember exact numbers but there's like 150 kilometers between them or something). Each Wall (big circle) has four little Districts (small circles attached to main Wall). There're no Gates in the Wall between those Districts, so if you want to enter inner territory you have to go through these Districts and the same thing if you want to enter territory outside the Walls. Those Districts have 2 Gates: inner Gate and outer Gate. Right now we're in Trost District (little circle) that attached to Wall Rose. Colossal Titan just broke outer Gate and people are evacuating through inner Gate. Now that Titans are in the city, we can lose only Trost District, but it's only a small circle. If Titan break inner Gate, then we lose all the territory of Wall Rose which includes a lot of villages in between Walls (and its like 150 km till Wall Sina). They already lost 1/3 of their territory and like 20% of population (because they lost Wall Maria) and they cannot afford to lose Wall Rose. So they must protect inner Gate of Trost because losing Wall Rose would be crucial

RIP Eren Fun fact: there's somewhere sensored version of AOT where titans wear clothes. Why would they wear clothes though? I mean besides the reasons they have extremely high body temperature and don't have reproductive organs to cover. People of the Walls believe all Titan are like mindless zombies (although Eren in this episode discovered Colossal Titan is sentient), so why would a mindless creature who's whole purpose is to eat people make clothes for themselves, right? If they have clothes I would personally assume they have their own civilization that similar to human's. I mean in the show they mentioned most of the Titan seems to be male. If Titan wears clothes I'd assume in this Titan civilization there's a female Titan who's whole purpose is to make clothes. Another but less entertaining assumption would be: if Titan are too dumb to make their own clothes, then who did? And – more importantly – how did they make Titan put this clothes on??? Sorry I got carried away with this one, I don't even remember what I was going to say anymore

The armored titan is the one who broke the second wall in episode one. the one who was charging it like a battering ram 🐏
