Hello there, my dears! I hope you're all doing wonderfully!
I'm back with another round of news! Well, sort of.
So, originally, I was planning to take this week off, but real life decided to tell me, "No, buddy. Not this time." So much for my vacation!
On the bright side... I decided to give our little Discord some attention by making a couple of stickers and renders! (The ones you can see above.) So, I'd say the week wasn't a complete waste after all.
Now, a little about C.S. Overall, judging by the feedback I've received, I'm genuinely happy to see that you enjoyed the update. And for once, it seems to have turned out better than the previous one, which I consider a success!
Although... Truth be told, the scene with Alice still feels a little too... sudden to me. I know I said I'd only include those kinds of scenes when they felt appropriate, but this one was somehow... Well, never mind.
Now, for the next two months, I'll be focusing on Astreon. And speaking of our little space opera...
God, how badly I want to remake the entire beginning. AGAIN. It's an absolute disaster. (But I did make a promise...) So yes, there will be a remake eventually, but much, much later. After the release of 0.6, perhaps even further down the line.
(I was playing through the prologue recently, and the amount of embarrassment I felt over my own writing was just... horrifying.) At the moment, I'm still working on Act One, and it seems to be getting better compared to the previous parts, so things aren't quite as terrible as they could be.
Although, the dialogue still feels a little... lifeless? The pacing is all over the place, and there are plenty of other problems too... But I'll leave those for another time.
For now, let's talk about the upcoming update.
The plan is to answer questions raised earlier in the story, establish a solid foundation for what comes next, and give the characters more depth, especially Kael. Which means that version 0.5 will focus primarily on three characters: Kael, Miriel and Kalestra.
Of course, we'll also get to know some of the other characters a little better along the way.
Oh, and one more thing! This entire chapter will have a bit of a Tomb Raider/Uncharted vibe, with ancient ruins, mysterious runes, and all that good stuff. In theory, it sounds pretty interesting. We'll see how it actually turns out!
Besides that, I'll also be working on giving the dialogue a clearer focus. In previous chapters, conversations tended to jump from one topic to another without ever properly getting their point across.
So... yeah. There's still a lot of work to do. Way too much work, actually.
But you know what? I'm happy about it. Being able to recognize all these mistakes makes me feel like I'm actually improving rather than standing still. Yaaay!
As for the possible remake... If I do eventually decide to go through with it, it won't affect the story going forward in any way. It'll simply make the transition into Act One smoother and more natural.

The translation for Astreon has already been uploaded to itch.io, and C.S. Part 2 now has its translation as well! So rejoice, comrades!
Oh, and one more thing about the Android version! I've switched to a different save system and installation method, so there's a chance that your old saves might no longer work. On the bright side, this should finally put an end to our save-related problems once and for all! And, in general, there shouldn't be any more issues with installing or launching the game either.
At least, that's the plan!

1. super long but please dont redo start again Mr.Dev Sir unless you feel you really have too. for the people who have been at the current end of content and played both your last version where you...overhauled close to the start all the way to the end, and who have played the version before last overhaul, were not worried about the start lol. we want to see the story continue..and if you decide to remake again it just takes time away for updates that continuing story. 2. its your story your trying to show so i wouldn't get mad or anything if you did, it would just really suck. we would wait for clown to get update then for the start of astreon to be remade, then finally get a good update for story continuation. your VN is top 3 for me so i'll be around no matter what but it feels like your trying to find a way to hook new people who just start and keep them from idk getting bored or whatever they complain about lol. your working hard man keep it up do whatever your heart tells you just thought id put in my 3 cents worth.

🤍🩶🖤As for the vacation, it’s certainly bad that it didn’t go well, but as soon as you get the chance, be sure to take a break — as they say, an artist needs to rest and be in good shape. As for the game, it’s simply amazing, and the early version was good. I’m sure it will become even better if you want to change it. And the dialogues, and everything else — when I played, I got completely immersed in the game and didn’t even notice how it ended. I even replayed it several times and started over with each update. Of course, I’m just sharing my opinion and impressions. In general, you’re an artist, and we’re interested in your vision and how the plot will develop.
