How to Change Your In-Game Mii Display Name on Cemu and Have It Actually Update In-Game (No Site Login or Redump Needed)

Hello everyone! I know many of you (probably most) have asked me about changing your in-game Mii display name in Cemu to something custom. Until now, I didn’t know how to do it either, so I couldn’t give you a clear answer, especially since simply changing it in Cemu account settings alone does not work. Recently, I figured out how to change the Mii display name using a method that might seem complicated at first but is actually pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. I made a video walking you through the steps (fair warning: I used my voice, so it’s a bit awkward, and I might repeat myself a bit, but hopefully it’s easy to follow). Also, bear in mind that doing this may change your existing Mii avatar (if you have one), but other than that it won't do much else.

Basically all you're doing is changing the string of Mii data in your account's account.dat file to a different string of Mii data that has your desired name. 🙂

P.S: I'm offering a monetary reward (around $20, but negotiable) to anyone who can provide specific details on analyzing an account.dat Mii data string step by step. I’m looking to identify which parts of the string correspond to attributes like the name, facial features, clothing colors, avatar, height, or anything else it may contain. Looks like some kind of padded bytes or binary data.
