Well I am disappointed that they did not go with this as they could just have given creatures a blend of the abilities that the creatures we got has, just mix the elements a bit. It is a limited job so there was no real reason why they could not go all out. But hey the cities are gonna be more lively
In terms of ARR creatures, I was actually really disappointed that the Shroud Hare couldn't be captured. I always found those silly lil guys adorable, but I'm probably the only one that cares that much about a slug, hahaha. I kinda feel the similar about the Leech, but not as much. As for my main answer to your question, here's a list of my favourites that come to mind: Mylodon, Kelpie, Gremlin, Fenrir, Tiger (or sabertooth), Diplocaulus, Netzach, Basilisk, Conodont, Boar.
I am not so much for slugs myself, but everyone has their own taste, and I have made stuff that I am not into before. That said your "Main" are all cool answers and I wish they had more options
A wolf of some kind would be nice. Surprised we didn’t get any. Fenrir the final boss of Snowcloak
Direwolf mount + pet would be great as well
Gotta be the . Can't believe we didn't get it... ;_;
??? Didn't get what?
Coeurl!
Well I was hoping to get a non-beastmaster pet. But Coeurl is a great one ^^
