OOC comment : While we are living in a timeline were coca-colaI always and Mcdonald makes AI slop ads, I always wanted to talk about this viral intermarché christmas ad named "Le Mal Aimé" that is about a father at christmas time who tells his son, which doesn't love his own wolf plushie gift since he is scared of wolves himself, a story about a typical misunderstood wolf trying to be loved by the other animals who are scared of him no matter what, but he learn from an hedgehog (spoiler alert) who him tells that he could eat any other type of foods besides meat from land preys and we would eventually see on-screen the animals finally accepting the wolf in their dinner table. It's made by a passionate french team who knows what they're doing and uses all of their hardwork and talent to create this Pixar/dreamwork-ish quality ad that genuinely deserves to win an Oscar and it's the best and most emotional holidays ad since that 1914 christmas truce ad made under the collaboration between sainsburry and the royal british legion. Also, the animated loops about Bella's cozy day and Noir smoking cigarettes in Paris at night with dreamcore/synthwave music in the background are not just random animations to relax us, but telling an hidden narration that actually fit with the characters themselves and their motives, like Bella is the playful girl who loves to be underestimated and prefer to be in her bubble of books, poetry and independent books and coffeeshops than speaking too much, which caused people to mistake her as a shy, nerdy, sweet girl. While on the other hand, Noir is a mysterious doomer woman who goes to different paths left and right if things are getting to much closer and she would smoke or walk without any purposes. Meanwhile at the same time and place, crowds of people and drivers coming home being stressed out and tired of their monotone jobs passing by. Families gathering together with the room's light illuminating the window on the outside and all of it in the same city of "romance" named Paris (which is secretly what's Noir's animated loop is all about.)
