I have s random question, How long is to long to keep CC Clothes and accessories? I have CC clothes from modders I love and want to keep. should I place them a separate folder out of the game, maybe on my desk top? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank You!

Yes. Always backup anything you want to save. I have my cc backed up on a portable hard drive!
