Merry Christmas, my dears! What do you celebrate?

I think, as a Swede, I celebrate a combination of Yule, Saturnalia and Christmas. The Swedish traditions have elements of all three, of which Yule is the strongest influence. We still call Christmas jul in Swedish and it's pronounced almost exactly as yule! Before Scandinavia was christian we had Yule and it evolved with whatever interesting ideas vikings and other traders introduced. We're almost back there now as Christmas is more about spending than whoever is said to have been born around now....
