Dev Log Ep4 Week 12: Hanging with the Boys

Okay, we are back on part-time dev hours now. Ya boy still gotta pay the bills and keeping a man-sized, vibrantly coloured chicken isn't cheap. So I reluctantly went back to my day job. Volos and I considered doing a Thelma and Louise bit, but the upsides of not having to do the day job would be met with the immediate downsides of not being able to make our games. Also, we couldn't agree on who was Louise.
Shut Up, We Only Care About Numbers
Alright, fine. Last week I got 142 renders. Not too bad. I had to do a fair amount of scene building to get that and only didn't get more last night because I started a new scene that I need to build. But it's all coming together. The game currently has 1,072 renders in for this update, so getting over that 1k mark is always a fun milestone.
I Play for the Story
Volos informed me that some people actually enjoy the erotic content of these games, which allowed me to turn a slight side girl interaction into a more substantial one. This is good news for fans of side girls, bad news for my sanity because it means more animating. But I didn't get into this with the interest of maintaining my mental clarity. That ship has sailed.
This week I want to get this animation done because there are two cut scenes that demand my attention, but I also need to keep the renders coming in. So let's get the caffeine flowing and play fast and loose with my grip on reality. What's the worst that can happen?
