Dev Log Ep4 Week 3: Someone Has To Stop This Guy
Ni-howdy football fans.
Fuck me, it's been a hot week, and this box on my head acts like an oven. Buckle up for my semi-serious attempt to manipulate some sympathy for the developer of a fuck game.
I don't know how my boy Maya managed to pull that result out of his ass. It's been a hot one for him too, so as you can see, I'm paying him a visit to check how he's coping. Later, he said he'll take me to the toy shop and let me pick out whatever stuffed unicorn I want, as long as I promise not to stick a Fleshlight in it.
I'm unsure what we settled on, but what Man-Chicken doesn't know can't hurt him.
Sob Story Incoming
So I had a fucking pathetic week, and I hate myself.
66 fucking renders.
That is bullshit.
Sure, there are reasons for it, but that doesn't stop me from hating myself and punishing myself with a "no McDonald's for a month" rule. In fact, no happiness in general. This is such a dogshit result I don't deserve to be happy.
No shit though, your man's had a rough week. The day job has been kicking my ass on top of an unrelenting European heatwave.
Will I fix it this coming week?
I fucking better.
Anyway, what else have I got to say?
I made some decisions about what to tackle next. I need to spend some time this week breaking the remaining scenes down into animations and cinematics so I can start commissioning the voice work. Fingers crossed it all comes together without me going completely batshit crazy.

"This guy hasn't got much to talk about this week, yet we're still reading this bullshit dev log. Get back to work, motherfucker, and don't come back until you've got something better to show for it."
