Weekly Dev Update: Progress on Chapter 1

Hey everyone!

This week, I’ve been deep into one of the bigger scenes in Chapter 1. This particular scene has been challenging, with a few animations and complex lighting setups, so it's taken some extra time to get the renders just right.

In addition, I’ve written a new opening scene for the game that I believe will serve as a stronger introduction to the characters, the story, and the core concepts of Moonlight. I’m excited about how this sets the tone for what’s to come.

I’ve also structured my development tasks more clearly, which has given me a better understanding of what needs to be done to complete this chapter. Along with that, I’ve invested in some necessary assets to help push the chapter towards completion.

While I’m still a ways off from release, progress is steady, and I’m aiming to provide a more accurate estimation of work completed in the near future.

Starting now, all future dev updates will be members-only posts. However, I’ll still keep them visible for free members so you can continue to follow along with the chapter’s progress by becoming a free member.
