Valmora Poll #1 - Frequency of release

Hello everyone,

Since the pre-alpha was well received, we are considering releasing more preview builds.

So today we come to you to ask for an answer to the age-old question: how often should we release?

Let's keep it simple for now. In our opinion, there are two main options: short releases (every 1-2 months) and long releases (4-6 months).

Short releases: it's easier to see small changes rather than major developments, and you'd be able to see the implementation of certain things step by step. For example, a quest might evolve over the course of two or three versions, and you'd see it step by step.

Long releases: we're talking about big steps here; between one release and the next, entire quests could be added, or perhaps a fully implemented area without seeing its gradual evolution, but only fully inserted blocks.

Of course, we're still talking about progressive pre-alpha releases; we don't feel ready to release a playable public beta yet. So, these builds will still be available exclusively to backers. We'll be evaluating the survey results in a couple of weeks, so we'll talk about the results towards the end of the month.
