What if it is telling me that the updater isn't up to date with the sims 4?

Hello!! I installed the DLC unlocker do Mac users, but today it said it will stop working once we get the macOS28 update, so idk what we will do :(
hello. i followed all the steps. my sims is up to date but the updater says it cant do anything "Your game version (1.129.39.1030) doesn't match the one available in the Updater (1.128.90.1030). Updater doesn't have the newest game version yet. Try again later." Does this mean i need to wait for the updater to catch up?
i'm honestly not sure , make sure your recent game is updated and repaired through EA or Steam. Best fix for right now is to download all the DLCs one by one on the anadius Mirror site
Why Is My Updater saying That It Not on the latest verison
i just want to clarify that you have updated your game and repaired it through ea or steam? If the updater is not working for you at this time, the best solution i can reccomend at this moment would be to go to the anadius mirror website that i have linked in my updated tutorial , go to the DLC's only tab and download each DLC and then extract it your game bin (if you have the legit game already)

When I i try to agree to term in order to register my account so I can download the updater link it’s i clickable I even tried to do it on my phone. The only thing I can click is that I disagree with the terms💔
you have to wait a few minutes , it's like a verification to make sure you actually read the rules, i should've mentioned this in the video, it should become clickable after a few minutes

Hi, this is probably a stupid question, is it safe to download the DLC Unlocker from the mirror site? I just don't feel comfortable putting an email on that site and all (im also having trouble registering too). it says the file was updated recently, so i just wanna know
no , i'm sorry but that updater is old and it will not work when you launch it. i'll provide a dropbox link to the new updater soon, luckily i got it before the forum shut down

when I try to download the DLCs from the unlocker it tells me I cant because they have a Bad status. What does this mean and how do I fix it? I cant find anything on it and I followed step by step.

Hi! Thanks for doing this! I downloaded the updater, but when I went to download the DLCs and run it it gave me error messages for the expansion packs. "Download failed for optional archive [EP __) It will be skipped. Reason: Bad status: 404 try download manually and put in the same folder as updater.
UPDATE. I downloaded the dlc files and put them in the correct folder. The Updater says that I own the DLCs and the DLC unlocker is installed/config'd, but the game still says I don't own some of the packs. Any idea how I can fix this?

Are you downloading from the links in the forum or are you downloading from the mirror website ?

Is the DLC unlocker out of date? I tried to use it and redownloaded it from CS but it doesn't have the newer stuff (like royalty and legacy plus anything that came after that) even though I have all the files for the packs downloaded and i used the updater--edit: i think this is just an issue with the legit version of my game, not the cracked! is there anyway to use this on the legit version so i dont have to use the cracked??
there is no way to play the legit game with the packs .

Is it normal to get the malicious file popup when opening the updater? I'm a little scared to run the updater with the big red box shining in my face lol
I got it too and was too scared to continue. I think I'll proceed to do it and give an update afterwards if my laptop doesn't get destroyed. EDIT: I did it on my ratty laptop and the updater is apparently out of commission but the Unlocker still works so you're going to have to find the DLC content and download each one manually (I got mine from GoFile). Right now I'm tranferring all my DLC from my old laptop to my new one using an USB. Once you've downloaded all the DLC, I recommend making two new folders, name one "DLC Zip folders" and DLC Unzipped". Go through each EP, GP, SP one at a time and right click to extract all into DLC unzipped folder (I'm using windows 11 so I can easily extract without having to download anything to do it for me.) Then once all thats done, find where your Sims 4 folder is through EA games and pin it to quick access. Then go into each unzipped folder and drag the "_Installer" and "SP00,GP00,EP00" whatever number it is, together into the Sims 4 folder. Do NOT drag the entire unzipped folder into the Sims 4 folder. Once you finished, repair your game through EA games. If no packs show up, either you did it wrong or the game updated.

a lot of pirated content has a false positive about viruses and trojan but if you don't want to download that's all up to your discretion

Hey, I have a small issue with installing the updater, maybe someone can help :) I installed the EA DLC Unlocker, no problems at all. When I tried installing the Updater however, it gave me a virus warning, I ignored it, like you showed in the video, since I know that cracked/pirated games often times get flagged for viruses. BUTTT even after clicking “Keep” each and every time it still says that the file couldn’t be downloaded because they found a virus and there’s no way for me to bypass that 😔 Any advice?

if you go to the mirror site, click the 'anaduis' at the top, then 'instructions', and answer the questions it should ask you "sims 4 updater" or "dlc only", hit "sims 4 updater" and it will take you to the page to download (I used media fire)
um so my windows said the updater and dlc unlocker has trojan in it...?
that's normally a false positive with pirate links , but the risk is always at your discretion :)
Hi, to download the DLC Unlocker, I'm not getting the "Keep Anyway" option. It only shows to report it as safe and learn more, but they both bring me to the Microsoft website. Is there something else I need to do?
Hi, I am having a issue with it that never happened to me. When I start downloading the DLC by unlocker it keeps turning off and disappearing for me for some reason. Unlocker is downloaded The sims 4 aswell but unlocker is not really working. After the app closes the whole app dissapear from the folder.
I'm not sure what issue that would be causing that, can i ask are you extracting the file?
