My dad used to be a card distributor and used to be followed from store to store by scalpers and this was like 2 decades ago. Unfortunately this is nothing new. These guys would bring scales with to weigh the packs too. Scumbags have been around forever.

I think it’s possibly a scam. My bank completely shut down my card when I spent over $1000 in one day because I was getting a AirBnB for a week and forgot to tell them.
