I still remember when i first got black ops 2, i preordered it from game stop with allowance money, and my parents figured out where i hid the receipt to claim the game when it came out. They asked me on the day it dropped (which i was very excited for, obviously) if i was ready to go pick it up, and asked if i still had the receipt. I checked, and i didn’t. I panicked for like 15 minutes before my father told me i should double check that I didn’t leave it in his truck. I checked, and the game was there in his center console. He had grabbed the receipt and picked it up while i was at school. I played the rest of the day. They even let me skip family dinner (which was all but required for us) to let me play it longer. That’s a core memory now, i love my parents so much!!
