(Update) Happy Halloween and 1 year Anniversary
Hey all! Today marks officially the 1 year anniversary of me making content for patreon, and Halloween! There have been alot of struggles in between there and here, and alot of growing pains and personal troubles, but I can say from the bottom of my heart this patreon has enriched my life! I am genuinely grateful to each and every one of you who has donated, and continues to donate to the patreon on a monthly basis. without all of you it would be very difficult for me to continue, to create the environments I do, and to find the will and drive to continue making these videos day in and day out.
I would also like to say thank you to all the free users as well, and say hop on in, the waters fine XD. But really, Thank you for the support financially and thank you just generally for all the kindness and kind words about the videos - as well as Critiques and expressing what you all wanna see.
Now, Onto the meat of the post - Generally Speaking My goals for the Up and coming year are as follows:
1. Create Proper longer form content - 5 minutes or more - for the 10 dollar patrons: I've been making my standard exclusives for awhile, and while I like them I've had a bunch of ideas for longer form content for forever. These ideas have been put on the back burner mainly due to time constraints, me just not having the requisite skill to make them work, or generally just cause I didn't really know how to make them in VAM. Now that I'm a year in, I wanna try and commit myself to some of these more ambitious projects - I was Workin on the Bodyrun.EXE vid, but ran into a very similar issue I did last time regarding how to add the adult content into the actual video - so I'm more then likely just going to be calling that one a test for these other up and coming vids I wanna do.
2. Get My actual work life balance in check: Alot of the time I find myself over working and under socializing XD And I've been having a hard time finding the balance between Life and Work. Its hard sometimes because I do really enjoy making these and slowly getting better at these videos, and I do love posting them. I've also been wanting to get out more and meet some local people and friends. I'm a bit reclusive XD. I've been slowly working on painting up some trench crusade miniatures and have maybe been considering getting back into some older yugioh formats, but I dunno. I'm at a weird middle ground building phase of my life where I feel like I've got alot to catch up on carreer and work wise, but also just in life in general I guess XD. I was a very late bloomer, so Really - Make friends, Figure out my work schedual.
3. Sharpen up the Animations: The Animations themselves have been popping off, but I have been seeing a few small comments here and there about the Speed/Impact of the animations. What I mean by this is alot of the previous animations have felt, perhaps, a bit floaty in their creation, there isn't alot of proper impact when it comes to the speed, or the Plaping (outside of the sound), so I wanna try and get the movements to feel more Life like or IRL. Alot of this year has just been familiarizing myself with VAM even more then I already was, and learning how to actually make these videos easier for myself, and just learning the software. VAM is a bit esoteric sometimes with its menus and it provides very little in the way of explination on how to do certain things, so alot of it is either trial and error, or I've got to hunt for a solution. I am also just completely new to animation, I have never done anything animation related at all until I started making these Adult videos, so I've also been trying to figure all that out as well through trial and error XD. So yeah, Mostly just figuring out how to make stuff less floaty and more impactful, or have more weight behind it.
4. Make a "Community center" Of some kind: And I'm not talking about a YMCA - I have been floating the idea for some time of creating a discord server for people to hang out in and for the community to Become a part of, but I don't really know exactly what I would put on there, or anything. I think it would be cool to have just a place where we could all get to gether and share artwork, and talk about stuff, but I don't even know if I would fully want it to be NSFW - maybe just parts of it where we could update and stuff. I don't really know. I'm a pretty solitary guy, so I'm not part of alot of communities or anything. If this is something you guys would like to see, then please feel free to let me know, and I'll see what I can do to build it.
I'm sure there is more stuff I'd like to update on or talk about, but I just can't think of it right now off the top of my head XD.
