AN: Technically Dragon doesn't found the Revolutionary Army until the Ohara Incident, but pls suspend your disbelief that he did so 2 years earlier. Ty.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Whilst Mihawk was eyeing the future number one wanted man in the world, the founder of the Revolutionary Army was staring back.
Clad in a green robe, Dragon was sternly gazing at the dapper dressed man with a furrowed brow. He sensed a level of danger from him and his three companions no lesser than his own.
“Those sails are reminiscent of a ship I've seen before, but I just can't place where.” Poison tapped her chin, and shook her long pink hair in confusion.
“Slavers.” Dragon growled.
“Oh? How interesting~.” Poison purred. “You'll finally get a lead on Shadaloo.” She flirtatiously said, leaning an elbow on his shoulder.
“That remains to be seen.” Dragon muttered, then took a step forward, making the femme fatale lose her perch.
Masking a frown, Poison lurched forward, and barely kept herself from latching a clawed hand onto Dragon's bicep. The Revolutionary merely glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, seemingly reading her thoughts.
To hide her embarrassment at being seen through, Poison turned to the side, and angrily shouted out a name: “Hugo! Hugo, where are you, we have a fight on our hands.”
Resting peacefully under the shade of a tree, an enormous man standing at over 24ft tall-just a few inches higher than Whitebeard-was smiling happily at a butterfly playing on his finger.
“Hugo, I won't say it again!” Poison's harsh voice cried out.
“Mn. Don't get mad, sister.” Hugo slowly lumbered to his feet.
Built with solid muscles, and a somewhat hideous face, the man dressed in a pink tanktop, red pants with a chain across his waist, and sporting a mane of shaggy black hair arrived.
“How was your rest?” Dragon asked, forestalling any more of Poison's hot retorts.
“Mn. Sleep good.” Hugo replied clumsily.
A small smile spread across Dragon's face. “That is good, my friend. I am sorry to ask this of you, but a fight awaits us. Will you stand by my side?”
Poison rolled her eyes, practically gagging at the performance, but she didn't say a word, crossing her arms, and looking sternly at Dragon's back. As if to say why aren't you telling me such words!
“Yup. Little man free Hugo. Hugo always ready to fight for friend.” Hugo's deep voice came across as one associated with idiots, yet the loyalty & respect was true.
“Thank you.” Dragon inclined his head.
“Heh heh.” Hugo ran a finger under his nose, and chuckled like an innocent gradeschooler.
“Please tell me you aren't won over by this guy, Hugo. We grew up together, and I don't even so much as get a hello?!” Poison grumbled, pointing one sharp fingernail after another into Hugo's chest. Each thrust broke the air, and carried enough force to snap iron, yet when they met the gentle giant's chest, he dully stood in place, not feeling any pain whatsoever.
“I lub you too, sis.” Hugo reached down, and gripped her in a death defying hug.
Poison's head spun as she was squeezed tight. When she was released, she saw stars.
“You big lummax.” She whispered.
“They've arrived.” Dragon remarked.
The dark oak ship with black sails glided up to a wooden plank meant to dock ships, and a large blonde man jumped out, tying her to a post.
Seconds later, a long legged woman wearing white revealing clothing, and a dapper dressed man with yellow hawk eyes jumped down. The trio swaggered forward, each one of their steps spelling danger.
Hugo picked up a nearby boulder as large as his head with one hand. “Smash?” He asked.
“Not yet. Let's see what they're here for.” Dragon cautioned.
“Tch. It's clear as day they're bad guys. That sword guy clearly needs more sun, he probably ate the Blood Blood Logia Devilfruit. And that hussie walking next to him has no shame going around with nothing more than a bikini & board shorts. Hmm, I guess that tall drink of muscle isn't so bad~.” Poison said, her analysis ranging from toxic to mildly interested.
“Planning on adopting another brother, are we?” Dragon joked in a level voice.
“Maybe just a play thing. But if that's jealousy I hear in your voice, we can always go a round or two, I don't mind.” Poison said meaningfully.
“Not interested.” Dragon replied in a bored tone.
“Hmph. Men.” Poison rolled her eyes.
“I'm a man.” Hugo proudly declared, pointing his thumb at his chest.
“You sure are sweety.” Poison smiled.
“Enough. They're here.” Dragon stated, crossing his arms.
“I never expected to meet the son of Garp the Hero in these circumstances. My name is Mihawk, well met.” The dapper dressed man-Mihawk-tipped the brim of his hat at them.
Dragon narrowed his eyes. Few knew the relation between him and the old man. Those who did…were usually enemies.
As if sensing his companion's slight unease, Hugo gripped the boulder in his hand tighter and tighter, his intention to throw the rock clear as day.
Mihawk didn't spare the big man a single glance, his wide unblinking eyes seemingly taking everything in all at once.
“You're clearly slaving goons working for the World Government. What, have you come here to hunt down the Revolution?” Poison accused.
The big blonde man took an aggressive step forward, to which Hugo wasn't to be out done. “Heh. Heh. You small.”
“Say that again.” The blonde man growled.
Dragon didn't stop these taunts or step in to mediate, as he was truly curious who these people were. The possibility that they were Shadaloo was likely, but the fact that they hadn't attacked yet meant they were after something. And he aimed to find out what.
“Eh heh, you're Hugo, aren't you! I've read about your fights in the newspaper. So cool~~~!” The dark-skinned woman walked past her friends, and grabbed Hugo's free hand with both her hands.
“You bitch, get your hands off him!” Poison snarled, unfurling a whip from her side, she cracked it to the side, then went for the other woman's throat.
“Wrong answer!” The big blonde guy ran forward, and caught the whip with his wrist, hissing in pain as it lashed deeply into him, drawing blood.
“Good body! Any normal man would lose his arm to that. Oh, I can have fun with you~.” Poison grinned, licking her lips in a perverted manner as her inner sadist came out.
“Poison! Enough.” Dragon shouted in a low tone, a fierce gale of wind pressed the pink haired creep backwards, undoing her whip.
“But they're attacking Hugo!” Poison roared back, raising her hand to attack again.
Dragon appeared behind her. Speed blitzing at incredible speeds, he, the number one revolutionary, executed one of the World Government's Six Powers, Shave (also known as Soru). By kicking the ground rapidly, it allowed a transformation in high speed movement.
Grabbing her by the wrist, Dragon pulled Poison backward. At the same time, a lock of pink hair was cut from her head. If it had been an inch lower, that would have been her eye that was pierced.
Poison blinked, only realizing now what kind of danger she had been in.
The sound of a blade being sheathed met her ears, and she sharply looked up, meeting that hawk eyed bastard's gaze.
“My friend Alex has great patience and restraint.” Mihawk said in a placid tone. As if to say: I do not.
“We are at fault. We apologize. Say sorry, Poison.” Dragon sternly ordered, pressing down on the back of her head to bow.
“But Hugo!” Poison complained, only to have Dragon manhandle her so she could see what was going on at the side.
“Again, again!” The dark-skinned woman cried out.
“Heh, heh.” Hugo chuckled goofily as he tossed the long-legged woman up into the air as high as he could. “You fun, E-Len-Ah.”
Cartwheeling, and playing ‘air-guitar’ in the sky, the woman was making all sorts of music. Birds & other creatures had come out of the forest, and were watching the show enraptured.
“You are too, Mr. Huge-Oh!” Elena flashed a thumbs up.
“...” Poison saw this sugary scene, and clenched her teeth as she knew she was in the wrong. Damnit, damnit, damnit! That bitch!
She then turned to Dragon seductively. “You know, being forced around like this is actually kind of kinky~”
“Don't think this will sway me.” Dragon sternly reproached, then forced her into a bow.
“I'm so sorry I hurt you, big guy. But a sexy side of beef like you will heal up in no time.” Poison smirked, eyeing the shirtless man with appreciation.
“Sorry, I don't associate with prostitutes, I have a girlfriend.” Alex said uninterestedly, pulled out some gauze from a pouch, then began to stoically wrap himself as if he didn't have a care in the world.
“You!” Poison stomped, readying her whip once more.
“We didn't come here to fight. But that doesn't mean we're afraid either.” Mihawk reprimanded.
“Hmph. You two are so alike, why don't you get a room!” Poison crossed her arms, and said hotly.
“Yes. Let's. We have much to discuss.” Dragon nodded along, appearing to be deep in thought.
“An excellent idea.” Mihawk agreed. “Alex, don't let her mess around the Pearl.”
“You got it, boss.” Alex tiredly yawned, then lay down to take a nap.
Poison was fuming alone, speechless as she watched the man in her heart disappear with that stranger. And her stupid adopted brother was laughing like a lunatic to the side!
Meanwhile, whilst Dragon led Mihawk away, both men maintained their silence for quite some time. Traversing is through an open grassy plain, they soon fell under the shade of the Tree of Knowledge. The massive multi story tall tree served as the main hub & library for the island, and was the destination for scholars around the world.
Taking Mihawk to a small pond where no one would be endangered should a fight suddenly break out, Dragon found a pier where a fishing rod was waiting for him. Moving at a sedate pace, and then cast a line, perfectly content to wait for this stranger to begin his conversation.
The dapper dressed man, mimicked him, taking a seat at the edge of the pier.
Dragon noted that Mihawk chose not to place bait on his hook, just like him. ‘Could it be, does he also know Observation Haki? Interesting.’
“In two years, the World Government will initiate a Buster Call on Ohara.” Mihawk confidently stated without looking up from the pond.
A sharp, brief, monstrous killing intent surfaced from the revolutionary, disappearing as soon as it came. Yet the ripples in the water were enough to scare the fish away to the far corners of the area.
“How did you come to learn of this information.” Dragon asked in a deep voice, no longer in the mood to relax.
Mihawk's eyes stared unblinking into his own reflection. “Cipher Pol has already infiltrated the scholars. When the Oharans learn the truth of the Void Century is the day that they die.”
Dragon silently stewed, realizing that this man had no desire to reveal his sources. As for the truth of this matter…he believed it 70%. After all, when he founded the Revolutionary Army, wasn't it precisely because he was aware of how disgusting those so-called Celestial Dragons, those World Nobles could be?
“What is your goal in telling me this? Do you wish to join the Revolution?” Dragon asked, then his voice turned into a whisper. “Or are your ambitions higher than that?”
“I am just a man with a sword.” Mihawk shook his head.
Dragon felt a kinship with that statement, and sighed. It was not as if he wanted to be the leader of the Revolution. But if he didn't step up and have the courage to say no, then who else would?
“We could use a friend like you.” Dragon ultimately replied.
“Perhaps.” Mihawk inclined his head, then moved to stand. “Do with that information that you will.”
Dragon felt his rod tug, yet wasn't paying attention to it, as the Hawkeyed man's own fishing rod was empty. Furrowing his brow, he felt like there was some deeper meaning to this.
Just at that moment, a carp seemed to jump out of the water of its own accord, landing straight into Mihawk's bucket. Turning his back to Dragon, Mihawk walked back towards land, his boots thudding against the wooden gangplank, and the wind shifting his cloak. Before he departed, he paused in place.
“By the way. That throne that sits atop the world. It has an occupant. Their name is…”
Upon hearing this, Dragon dropped his fishing rod, numbly staring into the pond until late at night.
Eventually, he ran a hand through his shaggy black hair, and laughed madly up at the starry sky.
So that was it.
AN: Just saw the SF movie. ZERO Sonic Booms, special effects were lacking, and they got caught by electric whip guns like five times in the movie. Ken/Ryu were losers seeking redemption, Bison constantly had close ups of his O face, and Chun Li didn't act Chinese, ahhhhhh!!!!!!!
Poison has some stones to call out Elena's look as revealing while she's wearing THAT. She's lucky she wears shoes so she has something to stand on there.
I'm glad someone pointed this hypocrisy out, this is the reaction I was expecting, lmao.
