EAEdit 001
So… "Three months without a single release, and all we get is an EA edit? Cute."
yeah… and I’m honestly ashamed!
During this time, I made two hairstyles from scratch — one I threw away at the final stage, and the other I decided to save for better times (I have my reasons to keep it for the future). Besides that, I started working on a clothing and accessories set, but… I didn’t finish it…
I feel like a complete failure, but the reason behind all this is that right now I’m actively working on creating a comic (not in The Sims), and all this time I was writing the story, which consumed all my thoughts and wouldn’t let me fully concentrate on making content for The Sims 4.
But… since I wasn’t exactly sitting idle, I have a lot of drafts and WIPs, and I decided to release them not as a full set, but separately. So in the near future, I’m planning to finish everything I started during this period. For a little while, there will be more content than you’re used to seeing from me — this is my way of compensating the wait for the people who support me on paid platforms. Thank you!
After that, I really hope to find a comfortable pace for releasing content, so I can become a more stable creator — but I’m not promising anything. I’ve realized that you really can’t promise anything when you have other creative projects and a tendency to hyperfixate on them. I’d love to release full CC sets for The Sims 4, but I greatly overestimated myself and my mental limits.
I think smaller EA edits will be my way of staying active as a creator during periods when I can’t fully dedicate myself to making game content. This isn’t the only one — I was planning to release three at once. The other two are already in the final stage, but since I haven’t released anything for so long, I decided to split them up so I wouldn’t delay things even further.
Thank you for continuing to follow me!
