You're all acting like saints and pretending to be empathetic, but if you think about a subscription you have for some platform like Netflix, etc., imagine if they don't post anything for 4 months without even telling you, "OK," we'll refund you. You’ve been missed, I know from experience that extreme surgeries are pretty mentally traumatic and when you’re confined to a room or a bed it’s hard to keep track of time and you can easily just lose yourself completely. In your absence I did move to a lower tier for financial reasons but I wanted to keep supporting because I knew you would be back! Hi Lin, I’m so incredibly sorry for the physical and mental hardships you’ve been through since your injury and your loss. I think most of us have deep sympathy for your situation. At the same time, it’s really tough to see comments dismissing people's valid frustrations. Two things can be true at once: we can care about your well-being, but also feel hurt that billing wasn’t paused during months of total silence. Taking a minute to post a quick text update (disregarding the initial one) or pausing subscriptions would have been the fair thing to do for the people who help fund your livelihood. For context, I did end my subscription. Coming back only to post the same content that is free on YouTube also defeats the purpose of an exclusive tier. I hope you can take some accountability for the financial side of this—even offering a couple of free/credited months to the loyal subscribers who stayed billed would go a long way in repairing that trust. Glad you are healing, but hoping for better communication moving forward.

You should have paused payments if you knew you weren't able to fulfill the rewards.
