News update
Hope everyone is having a nice and sunny weekend! For those of you that aren't I'm sure the weather will change soon - until then play a game and enjoy indoors!
Wanted to give you a short update on Episode 7 - we're very close to completion. I don't want to promise a date because I can only disappoint you when I miss it, but I hope we will have it out before the end of August. That's how close we are!
Remember that Twisting Vines has been fully written before we started coding the game and it is a 10 episode game. The last episode (SPOILER ALERT) will be very short, more of an epilogue.
This means that there are only 2 more real episodes (8 & 9) after episode 7. Which means, barring any act of God, the game will be completely finished next year.
I hope you're enjoying Twisting Vines and have figured out that it is a very large game with many, many possible scenes and there's a ton of content - even though it may seem short of you just play it in a straight line. Multiple playthroughs may not be to everyone's liking but that's how this game was envisioned. After you play episode 7 you should be on a more or lest straight path and, even though you still have a lot of choices, the remaining episode paths are already determined by what you've done so far.
This brings me to another point - future games.
I enjoyed working on Twisting Vines. I really did. And I appreciate that there's a small but very loyal following of the game (or me as a creator) - thank you for that!
I would still like to do future games but as the income never really picked up the whole effort remains as a side project, something to do in free time (which severely slows down progress).
That's why I'm toying with the idea of making future games smaller. Trying for monthly releases of shorter, stand alone episodes of games.
1st question: Would such shorter, monthly self contained episodes be something you're interested in? Or would you prefer longer games with a full story that you follow?
Art is another thing which takes a lot of time so I was considering talking to some of my voice actresses if they'd be willing to act out the game. This would be much faster but, on the other hand, the girls would need more money so we'd need more patrons.
2nd question: Would you like to have the game be filmed and the girl real instead of being rendered or drawn?
Please share your thoughts and comments and give me answers to the question. Talk as much as you want because, in the end, I only do this to make sure you enjoy it.

I also prefer a full story and have no problem waiting for a release, having real girls in the game sounds nice but I think the price would be too high...
i like how it is now because there is alot of content every update and with that in mind i do not mind slower work :3
