Think about what that theory actually requires. First, you have to find a rape in THE EXORCIST that just isn't there. Then you have to believe Shirley MacLaine somehow didn't notice her own SEVEN-year-old being raped. And then you have to believe her novelist neighbor knew all about it and decided the right move was to write a novel, and later mention it to William Friedkin, instead of calling the cops. I love spookie theories about what movies are secretly about, but these are real people — a mother, daughter, and a dead director who isn't around to defend himself!
There really are too many movies.
