Roger Avary Q&A - Killing Zoe @ The Texas Theater
In February of 2025, a 4k scan of a 35mm print made by Scanners Inc. played at The Texas Theater. Roger joined the audience afterwards for a live Q&A moderated by Gala Avary. Here are some of the highlights.

There are too many movies is the best
I feel like I could see Arrow Video putting this 4K out
The story of Raj breaking into the editing lab and recutting his film is hilarious
These new scans will be screening this weekend at the theatre I manage here in Ottawa: www.mayfairtheatre.ca Can't wait!
This was great! Thank you guys for sharing. Is the sizzle reel trailer with existing films spliced in, still alive and digitized? And if so, will you ever release it on Vimeo(where it won't take down copywritten material). The John Langley advice is so true by the way. Music to my ears hearing that.
"Start at the top" - way to go ! 🤘
Thanks for more content!
We were at this screening! Roger was signing autographs after and we sang him n a cappella song 😂
Ohhhh yeah the acapella group ! 😉
I’d love to help get the 4K remaster played here in Japan.
This was invaluable.
Is this 4K remaster going to be available anywhere? Blu-ray, revival house showings, etc.?
Now that there's a scan, no doubt someone will do the 4K blu-ray disc.
Love this
Awesome! Roger's insight is always a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for posting this!
Are you showing this in NYC at some point?
Didn’t Ron Jeremy fly all the way to France to be in killing Zoe for one second?
Are we also getting the Video Vault episode today?
No, those will follow the Aftershow schedule. I’m still putting the finishing touches on the first one with the help of Josh! - gala
