Another K drama I recommend A LOT and has IU, she even won an award for how good she acted in this drama, is When Life Gives you Tangerine. It is such a beautiful drama and makes you really reflect about life and how you view your parents' life/youth, kind of like twinkling watermelon but in a less comedy way and without the time travelling. And a plus, we have Park Bogum acting brilliantly in it (he's one of Taehyung's close friends).

Why do I lowkey want them to watch “Can This Love Be Translated?” It has a bit more of a mature romance which I feel like they would like more than a lot of these high school/teenage romance

Oh Eun Yu is Choi Se gyeong daughter and her Mother’s first love who’s also once in the band which is her actual dad Choi Se Gyeong is her Grandmother’s daughter if you didnt notice the face was exactly the same with Choi Se Gyeong( Eun Yu mom) because the generations face never change😂 in the pic with the old man (Eun Yu grandfather) the Baekya music shop owner has scandal issue and has secret baby which is Choi Se Gyeong ( Eun Yu mom) .Mind you at this time they should behave because Eun Yu grandmother is a new comer actress and her grandfather is a band frontman but this scandal got exposed and they got cancelled . This is Eun Yu was so shocked to hear that her mother was actually a illegitimate child and thats why she wanna back home and hug her to console her .

I think you guys are forgetting something. Remember at the beginning of the series, Segyeong (the actual one) explained that she was adopted by a wealthy couple who lost their daughter? So that's why she was trying so hard to please her adopted mother, to become like her actual daughter. And the old man (who owned the shop and gave him the guitar) is her actual father, who she rejected throughout her entire life because she wanted to keep living as the Segyeong who's parents are the wealthy couple. That's the reason why the old man was occasionally seen with her because he missed her and he just wanted to see her, but she never wanted to see him until she moved to the US and stayed there, and only came back when he died. So basically, Eunyu (the one disguising as segyeong rn) is the granddaughter of the old man. The reason why he was acting weird when "Segyeong" aka Eunyu didn't recognize him was because the actual Segyeong knows who he is (because she's been rejecting him all her life). And the actress that Eunyu found out about, the person who dated his grandfather (if u remember the photo she saw of the two of them from the book), was actual Segyeong's mother, Eunyu's biological grandmother. So you could probably imagined what Eunyu must have heard about when she asked about her grandmother (altho she was pretending to be Segyeong who was asking about her mother). Also, if you paid attention, Segyeong had not once mentioned that she was dating Eunho, she only said that he was a friend she met when she lost her hearing temporarily, and he was the person who taught her sign language. She only ever referred to him as a "friend", but I think Eunho was just calling her his "girlfriend" because he liked her. I hope this clears up the confusion~

Show recommendations!!!! Great romcoms are Lovely Runner or Sold Out on You. The actress who plays Ie-Chans grandma also acts in Sold Out on You. Perfect Crown is also amazing, IU acts on this show! If you want to know more about Korean food and a bit of Korean history, like the Joseon Dynasty, then Bon Appétit, Your Majesty is an amazing show. Hwarang in which V acts is also a must!!! Seojun also acts in this and Park Hyungsik (you will meet him while watching In The Soop: Friendcation). This serie started Taehyungs friendship with the Wooga squad, it is a must watch! I really hope you guys consider watching all these shows at some point. They're amazing!!!!
