sorry, last comment! but I donāt think they could wrap it in one movie, or at least thatās probably not what the audience would like? Cuz i feel like weāre all here to get the most detailed battles as possible, and even tho some scenes were unnecessary, the pacing so far has been good to me š
this is the only reaction to this movie Iāve watched and it was so good guys! yall lowkey messed up some of the lore but did a pretty good job remembering anyway š To me, this is hands down the best release in 2025 and THEE best animated movie ever. the effects are insane, the attention to detail was incredible. Iām with Charlie on this one, I also prefer the three final movies to end up this journey, and honestly itās just fitting. I feel like releasing a series of this entire āarcā wouldnāt do much justice; cuz technically the whole point of the series was to defeat muzan, and the movies just makes it more epic. I donāt think the hype is gonna die down since we still need to see the other hashiras fight the other upper ranks. You kinda underestimating the upperanks I guess, Akaza only died because he killed himself he could've killed tanjiro and Giyu and leave the fight with 100HP like nothing happened and that's just upper 3, also Doma was literally playing and killed a hashira without even trying
Also letās not forget, animes are basically mangas, animated versions of the story written. And in the manga the backstories follow that order, and the basctories are explored in the battle fields which adds depth and a weight, you canāt really separate the bactories and the fight scenes, thatās not how this story works
Ik itās frustrating knowing the upcoming movies are that far away , but that tells a lot about the amount of work put in with the animation and everything and in a world where Ai is growing now , I have much more appreciation to the Demon slayer creators and the process it takes

The remaining story is still very long with different parts so they're not gonna be repetitive and the fighting will be by teams and the second one is even better
These are just horrible takes. Backstories are very important for characters especially villains. Especially Akaza, why would we get his backstory before this? he only remembered it after he got beheaded. You guys wanted a season of backstories??? you guys can barely remember them lol. Muzan wanting to become human?? LOL i won't even comment on that. The movies are written as a trilogy. They are set up to complement each other and set up plot points that will be revealed or answered later. One of the biggest benefits of the movie format, is that the animators have more freedom and can't be restricted by the episodic 20 minute format.
First of all guys, you REALLY, really need a quick character refresher before the next movie š
Doma is the demon who turned Daki and her brother Gyutaro into demons ā the two who became Upper Rank Six and fought us back in the Entertainment District Arc. Weāve seen the current Upper Rank Six that Zenitsu killed several times before in Zenitsuās flashbacks, but we also saw him as a child in Gyomeiās (the Stone Hashira) backstory, which Gyomei told Tanjiro during the Hashira Training Arc. He was the kid who used to live with the children Gyomei was taking care of. On his way back home, he ran into a demon, and in order to save himself, he led the demon to where they were staying and put out the wisteria incense that was keeping demons away. Thatās how the demon was able to get inside and kill them. Kanao, who is currently facing Doma, is the Tsuguko of the Insect Hashira ā basically her specially chosen student and successor. Her rank has consistently been higher than Tanjiroās whenever they showed us the rankings as they moved up, so sheās always been portrayed as being ahead of him in that sense. Thatās exactly why Iām SO excited to finally see what she can really do, especially since I havenāt read the manga and weāve barely ever gotten to see Kanao actually fight!! sooo hyped. Also, the Rengoku we saw here is Kyojuro Rengokuās FATHER, not his brother š His brother is still young. Rengokuās father and Tengen, the Sound Hashira, are staying outside the room where the Masterās children are mapping out the Infinity Castle, basically guarding them from the outside in case anything tries to attack them.

backstories as OVA has got to be the worst take I've ever heard. These backstories are crucial to the main plot. That's like saying Eren getting his memories back should be an Ova. Ova is supposed to be a side story not a main plot point. Also how are you still saying sht like "upper one is tanjiros dad" "Muzan wants to be human" "that's rengokus brother". I swear these guys don't keep information in their brains, and it's been what a few months since you finished the show...š how were they able to keep up with aot it's a miracle
Please watch "the ufotable team breaks down the animation of demon slayer infinity castle". Since you guys are interested in the animation. It's GENIUS. It will make you realize why it takes two years for them to release the next movie. And about a second movie being a gray area, you couldn't be more wrong. Everything most fans are excited about is in the second movie.

As a manga reader, the end of the series being a trilogy movie makes perfect sense to me. So much more will happen and details that will be revealed on the next movies that will wrap up the series nicely. Also, this is a pretty important part of the story, Muzan is not trying to become a human. If you guys remember on the last episode of the last season, Tamayo put her hand inside Muzan and Muzan absorbed a drug that could turn Muzan into a human, same drug that Urokodaki injected on Nezuko. Muzan is trying to decompose that that's why he is in that cocoon state. Great reaction guys, I look forward for the next film. šš«¶
Agreed! Also a manga reader- the three part trilogy series for the movies makes entire sense with how the manga was written and where the story is currently.

It's already been confirmed that it's going to be a three-part movie series, with part 2 already in production currently. There will be no more episodic seasons of the show as there was prior to Infinity Castle.
I remember Ben previously saying that *Attack on Titan* was the best TV series of his life. Do you mean now that *Demon Slayer* is better? Or just in terms of animation?

Muzan is not trying to turn into a human. He unintentionally absorbed the drug that would turn him back to a human and he is reversing it. Would be better if you watched in English as you could follow it better.

upper rank demons are supposed to be close in power to kibutsuji muzan. in the same way regular demons when they are fed blood get more powerful the more they fight and kill humans its the same way upper ranks evolve too. if muzan can regenerate his head after its cut off its not 'making shit up' to see an upper moon like akaza who evolves with each fight and kill also attain and evolve to the level in which he too can regenerate his head after its cut off. that evolution would only make him more on par in some ways with muzan and his weakeness just like muzan would simply be the sun. loved your reaction btw.

idk how yall didnt cry even once during this whole movie lol i cried like 3 times. akaza's love for his woman always gets me. he rlly loved her so much the way all he wanted was to protect her and be stronger n thats all he remembered after losing his memories, that he had to be stronger n stronger but never knowing for what or why. we all became akaza lovers at the end of this movie when it came out haha

Ngl, I don't understand the hate for the Master. Everyone loves him in the Hashira and outside, your dislikement of him makes 0 sense
they just didnt like that he sacrificed his wife n kids for the cause but we understand WHY he did it tho. muzan had to believe nothing was out of the ordinary n that he wouldnt dare do that with his family in the way. he needed muzan to underestimate him. master did it wt consent tho so i cant blame him. i know kids cant rlly consent to die like that but still, it was really the only way master couldve gotten muzan trapped like that n kill enough time for the cure to be injected into him while the hashira were on the way. totally get why he did it. if he hadnt ever done that, muzan wouldnt be weak rn hyding in the castle trying to heal. he wouldve alrdy atacked the hashira himself n killed alot of em given his strengh.

Wait guys did anyone know that kaigaku, the upper six demon Zenitsu was fighting was the same guy that was living with Gyomei the stone hashira in his backstory?? He was the kid who lead the demon into their home and got everyone killed to save hisself. That's how I remembered him, I loved how they brought him back. I didn't realize it until I rewatched it lol
They don't even remember the basic information and keep saying stuff like Tanjiro's dad is upper 1, you expect them to remember that detail? If it's not explicitly pointed out to them about five times they ain't gonna catch it š
As much as Seb disliked Zenitsu, he's the one who remembered Zenitsu's back story š
In the final episode Tamayo injected Muzan with the drug that turns demons back into humans. Remember how Tanjiro was sending her blood from the Upper Moons he fought? That was all for this drug. And while Muzan was inside that giant mass of flesh, he was basically trying to figure out what the drug was doing to him and how to stop it.
FINALLY WOOOOO!!! W reaction. Really an incredible movieā¦I have rewatched in 3 times because you just donāt get all the little details and nuances in the animation on the first watch. So good.

My heart was racing the whole time I was watching with you guys. It felt like the first time I watched it in the cinema. Oh my gosh, the animation, the music were trulyyy amazinggg! š

Donāt worry guys. Second movie wonāt dissapoint is all I can say. I remember reading those chapters in the manga and got speechless and honestly my favorite parts of the story will be animated finally. I genuinely believe the second movie will be better than this one. And the story deserves full effort and belongs to the big screens for the full experience. So I support the 3 movies idea. I canāt wait. Also donāt forget that the backstories are essential to the manga/story more than the fight scenes. Akaza is a very complicated character I recommend you to watch his part again in your free time to fully understand his motivations.
I will forever cry my heart out every time I watch Akazaās backstory. The fact that he had lost his memories as well so all he had left was that innate desire to be stronger. He had just lost sight of what the reason was - to PROTECT. And all that talk about him hating weaklings was actually his projection, cause he was the real weakling in his eyes all along. Ugh I could actually go on and on.
Muzan is not trying to become a human šš I feel like you guys shouldāve rewatched the last ep in your own time. Didnāt you wonder why lady Tamayo was attached/being absorbed into him. If you remember she worked with Shinobu to create a drug to turn Muzan into a human so they could defeat him (I donāt remember if there were any other effects). You guys misread the subtitle/didnāt comprehend it. They didnāt say he was trying to transition they said he was trying to DECOMPOSE the drug as in fight it off. Xx
How are they DEAD serious saying stuff like Ā«Kaigaku is probably Zenitsuās fatherĀ» and then Ā«thatās Rengokus brotherĀ» TO HIS DADš then saying Ā«no shit SherlockĀ» to Kiriya when he said Muzan must still be alive. Their ignorance and iq piss me off

Not to downplay Zenitsu, but it's not unusal to create a form, Giyu did that with Water Breathing 11th form, there are people who even created entire Breathing Techniques that are unique to them- Inosuke did that with Beast Breathing and Mitsuri with Love Breathing (Fun fact- she trained under Rengoku, but Flame Breathing didn't feel right to her so she modified it into Love Breathing)
About the discussion at the end- no offence but Seb is just making stuff up xD He isn't trying to become human. At the end of season 4 Tamayo injected Muzan with a drug that will turn him into a human, they literally want him to become human. What he's doing in that cocoon is trying to nullify that drug
