So, do we turn these girls into actually fattenable characters?

Because you guys seemed to like them so much.

The question itself is flawed. By virtue of their being displayed, we have confirmation that they gain weight. A more accurate question would be: "Should their gain be through direct player input, or should their gain be through an intermediary?" I argue the latter, given that additional characters, who in this case have no plot significance, would strain the existing in-game economy more. Additionally, if progressed by direct player involvement, this disincentivises players from interacting with the system these characters may have already been associated with.

For now I'd rather have a smaller number of fattenable characters with more weight stages, rather than a bunch of characters who don't end up especially big. I'd love to see those two get more content at some point, though!

I would love to move in that direction, but my approach would be to focus on the established girls until they're growth and arcs are completed before moving on to others.

I think I’m happy either way. I like the idea of having some new characters to interact with, but I also want to see our datable characters progress further up to stage 7/8. Whatever decision is made, I consider it a win.

Maybe you could do a naming poll for these two. I’m ngl when you first said that you wanted to add background characters that you could make bigger i thought you meant the purple sprites scattered around the university.

They will gain weight too, that's the point, but these girls should've been a reflection of that

I think it would be great to have some new characters for you to work on (even though we got anna recently). As a fellow writer of wg fic I always find myself wanting to introduce new characters to my stories, the early pounds are always the easiest and most enjoyable for me to write.

Maybe we can curse others see the results as we progress thru the game

How about, without them being directly fattenable, we discover they are in a mutual feedee-feeder relationship, and we can befriend them?

I mean they have the art, that and it could be interesting in the future to see if they add some sort of benefit to game play or fun other interactions

Might as well! I don't think you need to make them "dateable" just something like putting a curse on them!
