Important announcement: saving Weight Gaming
As many of you already know, the Weight Gaming forum is on the verge of shutting down due to rising costs that our admin, Grot, can no longer shoulder alone. Some of you also know that I’ve been working closely with him to try and prevent our beloved weight gain games community from disappearing.
I’ve stepped forward as a benefactor, committing to contribute a substantial amount every month to help keep Weight Gaming alive. However, the sum required turned out to be much higher than we initially expected—around $2,400 USD each month—which I will partially cover with my own donations.
In light of this, I’m offering you, my patrons, a way to directly support the forum through my Patreon. To do that, I’m opening two new subscription tiers.
Tier 1: Commissioner
The Commissioner tier will give you a monthly ~10,000-character weight gain story written by me personally—no AI, no ghostwriters, just me and my wonderfully morbid imagination.
You’ll be able to commission a story featuring:
Your original characters
Characters from other media
Or, of course, characters from Fatgeria itself
Tier 2: Epic Commissioner
The Epic Commissioner tier includes everything from the Commissioner tier plus an artwork sketch from our artist.
She’s genuinely talented, and getting a custom sketch from her for only an extra $50 is, in my opinion, an absolute steal. Here is an example of one of her sketches:
Why am I doing this?
Because Weight Gaming means the world to me.
Before I found this community, my game was just another forgotten title buried at the bottom of Steam—maybe 50 purchases and about $150 in revenue. No community. No conversations. Not even criticism. It was like the game didn’t exist.
Here, everything changed.
I found:
A player base
Heated discussions and honest feedback
Fan art and creativity
A feeling that what I make actually matters to someone
Without Weight Gaming, I am, in a very real sense, nothing. I’m not a creator, not a writer, not an artist—I’m just a speck of dust, unseen and forgotten.
I don’t want anyone else to feel that way, and I don’t want this community to vanish. You, the players, would lose so much: new games, a place to voice your opinions, and direct access to the creators you enjoy.
I am deeply grateful to all of you for your support so far. If helping you, and helping Weight Gaming, means I end up writing a hundred thousand characters of story every month, then so be it.

Keyfarer I suggested a thing to Grot before he denied it said it would disetivize service at one point but uh a subscription service for weight gaming 100$ a year membership cost with perks & perhaps discounted merch similar to patreon for those who offer it already he was against the idea of forced monetization but consider the fundraiser if we all pitched in a 100$ for every member of weightgaming how many use it I wonder even if weightgaming itself dies he or another dev can make an alternate buisness with similar ideals of course this is all a hypothetical under the bridge but if multi millionaire Nintendo team is charging 60 a year on a 520$ USD switch 2 perhaps charge 80 if too steep on a free platform? I said to him I would still pay my 10$ a month here when I can your game is fun as heck of course ill support you out of pocket regardless of other fate Key! ~Kevin
Well Wishes, I don't know the state of things for you but it's rough out here for a lot of places and I hope its not to bad on your end.
Key, your post inspired me to finally create a Patreon account and become a paid subscriber to both you and Grot. That website hosts countless projects that bring excitement and joy to my dull life. Without your intervention, it would have been lost for sure. Now we still have a fighting chance.
Where can I find more work from your artist and commissions solely through her?
She works for me and her rates are bigger than through my Patreon (around 2x)
I had no idea the site is on the verge of shutting down I’m definitely going to help out in anyway I can I unfortunately don’t have to much money to spend right now but later on tonight I’ll be subscribing to the 20 dollar tier.
On one hand, Weight Gaming is where I got my start as a translator, even if I only ever worked on the one fetish game before moving on to other stuff, so it does have a special place in my heart. On the other hand, I fucking hate how it's run. Caving to AI slopmakers and doing nothing about them is just the most basic of my complaints about the site.
What I meant to say before I tapped the enter button thinking it would make an indent, is that I'll need to think on this. I can afford it and $50 for a commission is indeed great value. Is that sketch tier limited to Fatgeria girls only or can it be for other characters?
