v1.0 early access 8 preview
This month I'll be working on the goblin game over orgy which won the previous poll. And since the end of the month is halloween, there will also be a new outfit and cinematic inspired by little red riding hood.
I've also been tinkering on a Bishop model for the motherboard floor. He's still very early in the sculpting phase, so his design might change a lot. But the goal is for him to be an adorably angry grenadier bunnyman. And If I'm able to finish his model quickly I'll also add a cinematic for him this month.
Ironically the reason the Bishop isn't further along is because I fell down a rabbithole. I've been using the json format for all the new asset data files in the game. In the beginning I found it to be really easy to work with. And C# has good support for json, so loading the data is a breeze. But with the cinematic rework I found myself having to constantly take a peek at the code to remember all the variable names and what their values should be. So I've also been working on a separate app to help with the json creation/editing.
There's also some missing parts of the cinematic system and the avatar rework that needs to be finished, and I really want them to be finished asap. But the cinematic rework really drained me of energy so I want to pace myself a bit better going forward. Still, it feels like what's left should be smooth sailing. So hopefully I'll make some solid progress.
The build will be uploaded on the 20th as always and there will be a new poll on the 15th.

Just another request, not on this update but in the upcoming updates. Can you add a four-legged creature like wolf but on 4 legs or something similar? Btw, keep cooking...

Omg that riding hood costume, had no idea I wanted that one as much as I do now. The wolf animations are my favorite.
While I appreciate the constant work on the game, will you ever get around to adding maybe like more difficulty options? Ever since calories were removed, the game is far too easy to loop.
Yes, I wanna focus more on gameplay. It's just easier for me to work on one thing at a time, that's why I want to finish up those system reworks. I'm planning to change a lot of the item scaling, add some more dangers, and improve the enemy AI. I haven't fully decided on what difficulty I want to aim for though. Originally I wanted hardcore to be the only game mode, and make it tough as nails. But now I'm leaning more towards having a regular "easy" mode, and have optional modifiers to add challenge.
