god the Revitalised Waterfront Music sounds so much like the music in Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 when you zoom the camera all the way out
Over the past few years I felt like I was insane any time I'd talk local politics with people. People liked the guy despite the fact thathe did nothing. Byron Brown is the embodiment of the modern democratic party. Do little to nothing, maintain the status quo, and when a newcomer shows up to challenge the institution you stomp them into the ground. What wasn't talked about to was Byron Brown's actions, or lack there of during the 2022 blizzard which killed 47 people.
You're doing really well, stay focused! 🔥
Damn, Nova can't catch a break with these landlords
I had to turn off my CO2 monitor because the beeping was giving me a headache
There’s a statue of Jimmy Six Pack outside the baseball stadium downtown, where I saw Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a major league home run in 2021
Maybe Nova could put that Soviet gas mask collection to good use.
Ahh, yes, the Poison Jr effect, where a gas leak makes you really good at posting.
Buffalo all the way this time I guess? also we need to know more about the lesbian house
Please can we have an Andor episode on one of these fine podcasts?
Podcasting is Praxis did series 1, it's what motivated me to watch it. Search 'Praxiscast War Andor Peace'
I went to undergrad in a small town, and the slogan on the local water tower was “we’re glad you’re here!” However, when you approached the tower from a certain angle all you can read is “[town name], you’re here!”
I would love to see these clock drawings
Hitting the estradiol like Snake and Ocelot at the end of Metal Gear Solid 4
sounds like the arrest of g. steven pigeon was a real uhhh coo for the fbi
Did they really just drop "Riley used to live in a lesbian party house" and not elaborate AT ALL
Admidely I'm not a glue factory patreon support, but I'm still surprised there's Riley backstory info I don't know
Mafioso Dorley Hall is now stuck in my head from that mob bit about estrogen shots.
Best part of Buffalo is that it smells like honey and we are close enough to Toronto to pick up 102.1 The Edge.
I call that section of the waterfront, "Cheerio Island."
I can't believe this misodragony... Making fun of dragonhenge... & after someone stole all my pyrophoric humour
I also come from a city whose' first elected Black mayor ended up being the longest serving, but its Columbus, OH. interesting coincidence!
i personally love being a tiny facet of November's dreamed reality, the big black void is so restful and comforting when she sleeps
To reference back to Fallout, it sounds like the Seneca Niagara Casino is the Sierra Madre of Buffalo.
Finding it is never the hard part .....
Breaching a pigeon’s office? Is that what happened in Ghostdog?
The product is still great, but I'd like to see more non-USA mayors at some point.
Lol at the immediate obscure "A Serious Man," reference.
I thought Warwick Castle was the actor who played that Ewok?
Is a sheikh a mayor?
New York State Trooper uniform is SO cursed. I understand why you'd make it that way in 1925 or whatever, it was the style at the time, but you'd think after WW2 they'd ease up on some of those design choices
I had to look up the hat. What in name the wild wild west is that Texas Rangers looking thing doing on the heads of the NYSP?
Byron Brown is incapable of eating a hot dog normally, at least two pictures exist to prove it
NYC rats >>> Demon Rats
I’ve been to Niagara Falls NY. The hostel I stayed in was managed by a very nice lady who, because of her dubious immigration status, had never visited Canada despite Canada being visible from her home. It was exactly as mid-apocalyptic as Riley described it but it was still better than Syracuse - I knew intellectually that American cities were hostile to pedestrians but Syracuse made me understand it.
Albany did this for me first, and then visiting Syracuse really hammered it home a few years later
I went to Niagara Falls, NY as a child and it's so bad it doesn't even have a good view of the falls, the view is just of the much nicer Niagara Falls, Ontario
0.0 Heineken, thats my drink!
a few years ago I got to wingwoman India Walton at 3 AM in Vienna, Austria, there is no moral to this story I’m just very proud of that
As an Australian I am very very curious about 'the rest of New York'. I got a niche computer part from Rochester once. What the hell is Schenectady? Let's find out
My best friend from childhood was dealing weed out of the apartment of these two Union College girls he was dating. The first time I came over he warned me not to park directly across the street because the people who sold crack out of that place liked to have that spot open for their customers. We ate mushrooms and watched Fist of the North Star then Evil Dead II. That's my expierence of Schenectady.
Wild dogs breaking into the apartment and biting you several times just sounds like a standard evening in a t4t polycule
I stay up late just for this. You all make my blue days better. Lots of love.
