PATREON EARLY ACCESS | Not Every Day in Paradise Looks Like This | Liveaboard Life in Fulaga Fiji

Welcome back to another episode of WE|Sail. EPISODE 347

In this episode, we are still in Fulaga. Still pinching ourselves. But this week paradise had a few surprises up its sleeve. We spend the morning underwater exploring Fulaga's famous pass on an incoming tide — one of the best snorkels in the South Pacific.

However, the afternoon brings something a little less glamorous. Turns out paradise comes with bugs. A lot of them. Dinner gets cooked in the dark and VA becomes a no fly zone. The next day Fiji reminds us why we love living this way. Rain, sun, buckets filling, solar panels charging. Completely off grid in one of the most remote places on the planet and honestly — not a bad way to live. Warren finds something to fix the moment the clouds clear because of course he does. The day wraps up exactly how it should. Dinghy, hidden spots, sunset happy hour somewhere beautiful. Fulaga just keeps delivering.

Hope you all enjoy this episode!

Happy WEdnesday!

Such incredible beauty! It’s sad to see the coral bleaching in such a place. Definitely not caused by suntan lotion! What was the depth in the channel where you were snorkeling? It seemed pretty deep. Do you wear a weight belt? Seemed like you could maintain depth very easily. You should be very proud of the thorough job you did on that repair

Hi guys. Thanks for another awesome video of the incredible Fiji. We just hauled out our Helia in Grenada yesterday, and your video made me want to splash right back. Ha! A couple of questions if you don’t mind: 1. I’d like to get that rainwater catching system implemented on my Helia. I went looking for the video where you describe it but could not find it. I found the video with the top-5 items, which covers the rainwater catching system, but it does not give me the details. Could you let me know what was the video number for that episode? 2. As I was watching the top-5 video I was reminded of your storm sail. I guess you set that sail on the bow sprit? Could you elaborate a little on that sail? Is there a video about it? Finally, that ladder looks sweet! Plus, we are also from Colorado (Littleton), so we’ll give that a try. We have a ladder, which has 5 steps so it works great, but it is made out of stainless so it is bulky and heavy. The one you showed seems light and compact. Again, thanks!!! Silvi and Jorge

It is sad to see the bleaching on the reef. The ladder looks cool.
