This episode we take a moment from boat work and sailing to expose some issues developing in our relationship... Some that I am sure most of you guys are already aware of.
It's a little different from our normal tropical daydreaming sailing content but we think its important to be as real and as transparent as we can be for those of you that are really invested in what its really like for a real every day couple and the challenges we face while living abroad and on a sailboat... We hope it does not scare anyone away from sailing... or our channel LOL!

We watch every video that you guys put out for many reasons, none the least of which is that we also have a Helia and we learn so much from you and what you do. But, in this case, we feel that we have knowledge and understanding that we want to share with you. Having been married for over 40 years, we can assure you that what you are experiencing now will feel like a bump on the road when you look back at it just a short while from now. And the reality of long-lasting marriages is that the inevitable “next one” will feel worse. Long-lasting marriages learn to live through those bumps. The good news is that marriages, like people, get wiser with time, and with that wisdom comes more tolerance which gives way to more kindness and quicker forgiveness. Yes, marriages do get easier with time, and when that happens the bond gets even stronger, the love more fulfilling, and the enjoyment of adventures together that much bigger. We sincerely hope this helps you, and we look forward to your next video, and all the videos that will follow. Cheers!!
We love you guys and have been sending all the prayers and good vibes. Every marriage has its ups and downs - not to minimize your experience at all. As in so many pursuits, never quit on a bad day.
