Cradle Dev Log #8

Hey everyone,

It’s been a while since my last dev log.

I ended up delaying this one because I wanted to share at least some real, noticeable progress. I was waiting until we finally reached the point where I could clearly see the update taking shape. The renders are now finished, while the animations are still being completed.

At this point, I can say that the overall structure of the update is in place.
I now have a clear picture of where everything happens and how it all fits together. I’ve already put the scenes into their proper places, and right now I’m working on polishing and adjusting the dialogues to match the final renders. After that, the main thing left will be adding the final juicy animations, and then we’ll be getting very close.

This update has around 600 renders in total. It’s not as large as the previous one in raw numbers, but the scenes themselves are quite dense, with more than just a couple of lines attached to each of them. So there’s still plenty to dive into story-wise, and I think the update will feel substantial in its own way.

Right now I’m focused on pushing through the implementation, and my hope is that by the time I finish working through the current material, the remaining animations will be ready as well.

So that’s where things stand at the moment.

I haven’t forgotten about you, and I’m truly grateful for all your support. I know this update has taken much longer than expected. But I’m doing everything I can to make sure the content is worth the wait.
