Cradle Dev Log #6

Hey everyone,

Time for another update.

This month didn’t bring huge changes, but progress is steady.
Work continues regularly, and the next release is still moving forward.

Early on, we had a stretch where Cradle could be the main daily focus. A lot of things were new, so it took extra time to build the foundation and find the right workflow. Now the base is stronger, but everyday life responsibilities have returned and naturally take a share of the time. The important part is: we’re still here, and development hasn’t stopped.

We also want to say this clearly: we feel responsibility toward everyone who supports the project — especially financially. We appreciate it, and we take it seriously. Cradle remains a priority, and we keep pushing it forward.

What we’re aiming for next

The next chapter is planned as a continuation that also finishes the current arc in a more satisfying way.

We want it to deliver more of what a visual novel should shine at:

• more intimacy

• more relationship development

• stronger character moments

• and a better sense of closure

The previous chapter had a lot of setup and information, and the ending felt too abrupt. This release should feel like a more harmonious conclusion to that episode, while still adding a bit of new adventure — so the story feels more complete, even for new players.

ETA

We’re aiming for a tentative ETA around the end of next month (end of February 2026). It’s a working target to keep momentum — the main dependency is still the remaining visual content, because we want the chapter to feel substantial and worth it, not rushed.
