Dev Update

Hello everyone,

First of all, sorry for the long radio silence. Life has been a bit of a mess lately, with family obligations, a couple of anxiety attacks, work, and several other things competing for my time and attention.

Because of that, development on 0.12 has been slower than I would have liked.

When I first started Blossoming Journey, I had considerably more free time and very few other interests competing for it. Things have changed since then, mostly in positive ways, but I've also found myself wanting to invest some of my free time into other parts of my life as well (physical well being, social life, you know 'normal human' stuff). Finding the right balance has been difficult, and unfortunately that has meant that Blossoming Journey hasn't received as much of my time as it used to.

But enough about my excuses and apologies. What about 0.12?

The draft currently sits at around 35,000 words, and I've already generated more than 300 visuals for the scenes. There are still plenty of scenes that haven't been written yet, but I'm slowly working my way through them.

Yesterday, I finished writing the Friday morning event of the first week, so the update is gradually taking shape.

Once I finish drafting the entire first week, I will ask for your input on something important:

Should I release the first week as 0.12 Part 1, allowing everyone to get new content sooner, or should I continue working on the full two weeks and accept a longer development period before release?

I'll put up a poll once the first week is complete and let you help me decide.

For now, development continues. It's slower than I'd like, but I'm still here, still writing, and still working on Blossoming Journey.
