Dev Update V for 0.8

Hey everyone! Time for another progress update on version 0.8 of Blossoming Journey.

This past week, I focused heavily on customization—adding a ton of new clothing items, accessories and even a couple new tattoos! I also wrote and implemented three new night events, bringing even denser content for this week to be filled with action and story progression!

With that, the first six days of content are now packed and nearly complete, with only classmate interactions and sleep scenes left to add for that section.

Up next, I’ll be focusing on writing and implementing the two events for Sunday. I already have some ideas for where those scenes could go, but as always, I’ll let the characters and story guide me.

I squashed a few bugs leftover from the 0.7 release to keep everything running smoothly. So far, all the new content and systems added in 0.8 are functioning as expected! In the event where you spend time with Mr. Brown in the pool had a bug. In the next update you will be able to get a love point from him by choosing the appropriate option.

This week was a little more scattered than usual—partly due to a big personal challange, thankfully that resulted with joy and success. AND partly due to getting absorbed in the finale of The Good Son, a game that’s always been special to me.

Now that those distractions are behind me, I’m feeling refreshed and ready to dive back into writing with renewed focus for the final pieces of the 0.8 update!
